  • If you really want to live a 'real' life, look around you @Victor . Look at all the working mothers who manage to do fantastic jobs at home and in office. A working woman is NOT an object of derision. A working woman staying away from her husband is not a sexual predator, a man-hungry vixen as you make her out to be. A woman choosing her career along with her family is not inherently immoral.

Your arguments make me wince from inside. I have a working single-mother, and you clearly don't know what 'reality' is. So, pardon me if I sound rude, but just shut your abominable trap hitherto fore!
Don't bring on that emotional touch of mother/sister. If judiciary punishes a criminal, then it never sees who is who's father/brother/sister/mother. You are just trying to emotionalize things by bringing in relations in between and thus trying to hide off what is really happening.
  • @all it feels great to read fellow aspirants reply to @Victor so nice to see such paradigm shift in way men view working women... More delightful is the way you all are standing up for a gender insensitive comment.. One thing is sure when you people crack the exam and enter the academy some positive changes will be induced in the way the world perceives women... Kudos to u all ^:)^ ^:)^ ^:)^
It simply shows that how many blind followers of women rights have been created who go by majority view to remain on safe side.

Also ask these fellow aspirants about how many of these GENDER SENSITIVE aspirants enjoy watching porn and so called bold movies... You will know the TRUE extent of gender sensitivity...

You know what you are hiding? Your sense of balance in life. And your extreme cowardice- by being all I-am-the-man-and-women-should-be-subjegated.

Comparing working women to criminals? Whoa! You're on a roll, mate.
Grow up, grow some.. down there, and once you're man enough, come back and talk. Till then, bugger off.

You are saying all these just because you cannot digest the truth which even you can VERIFY by simply calling any of your friends in Bangalore/Pune and knowing the real scene of what is going on.

With illicit relations on rise and divorce on rise, you want to close your eyes just to remain in a dream world.

@Neanderthal chankya said " never argue with a fool he will drag you down to his level and then beat you with his illogical logic" ..
Sometimes things are beyond repair so no point trying to tweak a broken record...
Let @victor keep talking to himself when he sees no one is noticing him he will fall silent and even if does not lets not bother ourselves with his unnecessary banter...

People who close their eyes to avoid the Reality so as to continue living in their dream world are thinking themselves as wise... :D

Umm, which world are you living in, brother ? are you naive enough to think that this kind of thing happens with so-called 'empowered' women? Have you ever lived in a village? Everything goes on there, including some rather horrible things like blatant sexual exploitation by landlords. These kind of 'stories' are made up by individuals like your friend to absolve themselves of guilt for running after a married woman. Take both with a pinch of salt.

@rrb14 one of my close relatives is IPS while my bhabhi is a civil judge. It works out OK for them as he has home cadre (Haryana), a relatively developed state. The best thing is to establish homebase in one place ( each state has atleast one developed city).Anyway, you'll have more help at hand than any private job can offer, so while it may be difficult, it's not impossible to plan your careers together.Good luck.

@Victor So working women are more adulterous than working men?
Let me ask you a basic question: Who do you think "these" women are sleeping with? It's basic math.
Say no to double standards my friend.

Sexual exploitation is a much different thing than a consciously made illicit relation. Instead of debating with me, why not just ask any of your friends working in such open environment cities like Bangalore/Pune/Hyderabad/Delhi/Mumbai. You will get answer yourself.... provided you are daring enough to accept it from your friend else you will call his narration also as a "Made up story"

Can you first of all mention that by which "high level of your ENGLISH standards" have you came to conclusion that i have ever compared who is more adulterous?

    @Victor :
I do not know what you have been smoking, but your comments show a medieval and narrow outlook towards women. It is interesting that you implicitly allude that women with careers and who are married are more susceptible to have an extramarital affair and not a married man! Any proof? Or are "unrealistic" people missing something?

Your "reality" reeks of a stagnant mind, a deep disrespect for women and basic lack of decency. I am shocked that a civil services aspirant has such deplorable views!!
