Ask why not RBI/SSC/NDA(SSB)/Defence Services/BankPO in Hindi .After all they are also government job.
Specially RBI they have all papers in English not single word in hindi,ask them to recruit these guys they are better related to grassroot level so will effectively work on inflation policies after all inflation hits grassroot level more.
Atleast Hindi promotion will create job for Hindi to English translator.
actually hindi heartland youths were expecting the " Acche Din" , and what they got ?? only 26 selections out of 1122 people.. I sincerely request all the " Hindi , Culture and Sanskrit Patriots" to study with full concentration and try to crack this elite exam , rather than indulging themselves in such nugatory activities which will lead them to nowhere .

@sniper : exactly the same thing i was saying , if any hindi medim guy/gal does not able to find the quality study material in their own language, then why dont they switch it over to the english medium. You must be knowing bhai, civil services exam doesnt demand any high quality literature type accented language . The only need for this exam is they are able to write in a simple english language without any grammatical errors, which i think should not be a herculean task for hindi medium candidates. Secondly , this exam is not meant for examining the candidates proficiency in english language . Most indispensable thing is knowledge while writing an answer. So i just dont understand what is the problem with hindi medium guys? Language?....Knowledge?.....Capability to do hard work?.......or some thing else.?
Bhai this is not that easy. If i have to change my medium from english to hindi i would be terrified. Although i can speak a very pure and good hindi i have a huge problem writing it. Plus civil services require deep understanding of the issues which is definitely not poosible if you are reading in a different language.

Even Constitution is written in English now just say nahi manana hai is Samvidhan ko likho isko phir se Hindi mein.

The Hindi passages, for example, are often literal translations of the corresponding English passage and much of the crux of the passage is lost in translation. This renders answering inference based question difficult. Unfortunately in their largely absurd demands, the genuine grievances lose out.

genuine grievance? WTF man! when rest of the people who don't have hindi as their mother tongue were given only english as their choice in comprehension, these guys must be happy that atleast they got some translation! F all!!

English is seen as alien to native Hindi speakers and is often rejected or eschewed if forced upon them since it's not their mother tongue. Similarly, non-Hindi Indian language speakers reject Hindi when forced upon them.
I'm Bengali and I'm fluent in English and Hindi as well (speaking, reading and writing). All three are equally important to me in daily life.
But if someone claims "superiority" (by means of number of speakers or otherwise) of Hindi over Bengali, I'll be the first in line to start the language revolt 2.0.
Statistically speaking Bengali has nearly as many speakers in India and the world as Hindi. But I don't want anyone to be forced to learn it and neither do I want anyone to force a Bengali to learn Hindi either.
When it comes to language, there cannot be any compulsion. And therefore, everyone should be allowed to write the exam in the language they are comfortable with. But in a diverse country like India, the only acceptable lingua franca remains English. You cannot run the administration without it. But as far as csat goes, the Nigavekar report has settled the debate for those who are willing to accept it.

Waise kabhi kabhi koi word ki meaning nahi aati hai to mai bhi hindi wala passage dekh leta hu par waha to aur bhi tough hota hai.
But mains exam mein panacea ka meaning mujhe bhi nahi pata thha kya hota agar bagal mein hindi translation nahi hota
biggest benefit of studying in eng medium in small town ki na english ke rahoge na hindi ke
finally sab english vinglish ho jayega
