OMG! Now AAP joins with those guys..! expecting another protests guys :)

What the hell going in country

political El Nino hitting the country worstly causing uncertain csat monsoon.but north west monsoon of mains will bring cyclone in winter with mango shower for few in march and finally heat wave/loo for most till early june.
  • This is just pure rubbish! Instead of wasting their time in Dharna and grabbing TV footage, they should atleast make an effort.
These people are nothing but frustrated losers who think some sort of anarchist demonstration will help their cause. Shame on such people!!
  • If guys from South India would have protested, it would have been understandable. As they tell, already hindi translations are given for Hindi guys making exam/CSAT easier for them. People from Tamil Nadu, etc could not read Hindi(majority).
    NB: I am from Odisha.
Moreover, for Hindi medium students, Hindi translations are given apart from English-so double advantage.
Then, why this majority imposition on the rest of nation? Why all these special favors? Already Hindi language is given in CSAT papers(and not odiya, telgu, or tamil or bengali). But, we odiya, bengali, tamil and telgu are not protesting despite huge setbacks.
Majority of people coming from my state Odisha have read from vernacular/odia medium schools have similar or even less English language knowledge than the people from North India(esp UP, bihar). And, north Indian hindi-speaking people already have Hindi translations for them!! So, why are they/you complaining?
But, we people quietly accept. And, we do not complain too. We try to improve our English language skills in the 1 year by practicing. Despite having setbacks in reading Hindi and manage with the half-learnt English, we still do our best without complaining and am happy that this time 9 people from Odisha have qualified in the final list!

1 year is enough a time to have a decent hold over the language. If we we could do it, there is no reason why people from the Hindi heartland(despite the advantage of translations in Hindi) cannot do the same.

I am not contesting the inclusion of Hindi language in CSAT! Let our hindi-speaking brothers have the advnatage. Moreover, its our national language too. But, just remember that you are in a much more comfortable situation and your protests are simply laughable and invalid!!
Please think over it-all my Hindi-speaking brothers!

-From East and South India :-)
Dear we have no national language, hindi is not our national language. we have only official language and part xvii deals with official language. check art.343 and 345. no such word like national language use in it.

  • just visited batra....a group of students[protesters] r closing down coaching classes....if we as engineers can opt for arts optionals and can prepare GS which is largely(infact whole) based on arts subjects , why u cud not prepare a single paper of csat...
  • why people from odia medium, tamil medium, bengali medium, asami medium, telegu medium etc not protesting?? these poor people even do not get those RCs translated in 2 their language.. Then what is wrong with these hindi belts... May be all credit goes 2 lalu,mayavati,mulayam.....
  • Some of BJPs actions to impose hindi, protests from these people will only result in disliking of Hindi by more people in India instead of spreading.
  • I dont understand why a person needs to be poor to eb qualified to work at a grassroot level as someone said.

I mean Nehru, Gandhi, Bhagat singh and many others were not poor .Yet they served people at grassroot levels .

You see, there is a thing called as intent and a desire to work for the downtrodden , poor and to help them in any way as one can .A passion to serve this country and empathy is
what one only needs to work at grassroots level.

Whatever changes UPSC is thinking to bring after these protests , please dont bring the optional 2 and GS 2 back .Moreover, if they can do away with the remaining optional too, i will be much grateful to them.

As allare protesting for their own demands , here is a special one from my side :
Let the interview be conducted in any language a candidate is comfortable with. Why limit it to Hindi and English alone .I know both Pure Hindi and english but I am not a fluent speaker in either of them.Allow me to take interview in Hinglish or Punjabi because I am not willing to step up my game and learn to speak fluently in English or Pure hindi.I am not willing to do the things which are out of my comfort zone for once in my life .Let me do the things which I am comfortable with and clear exam doing the same .

Oh and one more thing , please remove History from GS syllabus as I hate it and never liked it .If you can remove Culture and Art part also I will be grateful.
