  • everyone giving faltu ka gyaan here. lateral entry good or bad is another topic. main issue is motive of the govt. gujarat model is in full play. what these two professional criminals did in gujarat is for all too see. apart from riots, fake encounters etc natural resources at throwaway prices given to ad*ni, am*ani etc. many gujarat bureaucrats of his tenure are now board members of above companies. gross labour rights violation happened. now he wants the same at national level. he will make a reliance official as joint secretary in petroleum ministry and cry out vikas, vikas. he is nothing but a corporate pimp. institutions have long history of being politicised but present case is like never before. couple of years back a gujarat cadre ips was appointed as director of cbi. he is arguably the most corrupt ips of gujrat. after hue and cry he was removed. same is the case with other officers in cbi, other institutions. if you care about reforms what about police reforms, bureaucracy reforms ordered by supreme Court? why these are not being implemented? situation was already bad and this semi literate criminal has made things far worse
    Many people are not aware of this...But in gujarat, many vacancies for government posts are given for a contract period of 3 years and the pay is fixed at Rs 5000/- per month. After 3 years, confirmation is granted and the employee is absorbed on permanent basis as per regular pay scale. But, during the confirmation, a lot of corruption happens as it is a departmental process and not done through any independent public service commission like body. Many times, the candidates are rejected and they have to work 3 more years at the same pay of Rs 5000/- for another three years. Obviously this income is not sufficient and then they resort to corruption in their working. Also, it has created a very unhealthy trend where fresh graduates from decent colleges are ready to work for a salary of 5000 . Private companies have taken advantage of this where they have also reduced the yearly package offered. Hope this trend is not started at the national level.
