Bhai if u keep on studying every transcripts until 22 then I'm sure u can perfectly anticipate and prepare each and every questions that will be asked for u and can score even 250+
Is it mandatory to send attestation form to DOPT right now or we can do that after final results ?
After final results u can send. But dont be shocked if your number is kept as provisional by upsc in final result pdf..
Thanks ! But will DoPT do verification right now or will they start only after results ? Isn't this a separate process from UPSC declaring final results ? I thought final results are kept provisional only for medical tests issues or for one who didn't provide all documents !
One other query, around particulars of all places I stayed in last 5yrs ! I have a travelling job and don't stay at any place including abroad, for more than 1 year, except when I was in Delhi for civil services preparation ! So do I mention just 1 place info that of Delhi ?
Even when I was abroad I was moving across places - London(8 months), Halifax(10 months), Glasgow(3 months) etc ! In India I stayed in Pune for 10 months !

DAF poora hojaye bas kaafi hai yar. I think nobody has mentioned his/her hobby as singing, playing musical instruments. :P I hope ppl who are to face the i/v later than mine show up here on this forum, I'd b happy to share my i/v experience with them also.
Since many of friends have asked me to share my interview experience held yesterday (17.04.2014),I will try to recollect my memory of sequence of events followed.I took auto from central secretariat and reached at UPSC at around 8:30 Am half an hour before. There were some of people like me waiting already, some of with their families and wife.Since I was alone I had difficulty with my tie ,so I asked one of them to help me,but finally an auntyJi from Surat helped me.We entered after all checks and mobile was taken. Finally led to huge circular hall with lots of table people sitting around.Table number was given already to sit all 6 of us which will go to same board,.The order for interview can be seen on the paper with the guard who was collecting mobiles.Mine was on the 4 th number ,so I thought it will be a long agonising wait but environment inside circular hall was cool.People were talking like as they do in Delhi parks, with periodic announcements about documents and travel allowance. The guy checking documents was cool and all those formalities completed by 10:20 Am.Meanwhile we were told that Manbir Singh will head our board whose room was just right of entry gate.Someone announced that we could get tea for Rs.5 there, many of us jumped.Believe me if Arvind Kejriwal had taken that tea ,he would have said ‘yahi toh scam h isi k against toh hum lad rahe h’ .
In my board all others five were veterans with experiences from 2-3 years of interview ,but no was depressing soul to whom was fearing most .One of them had faced Manbir Singh in his other interview ,so everyone started asking about him what he will ask ,but he already had bad experience with Manbir singh so he was not in position to say much.Among 6, I was first attempt first interview so anxieties were very much evident on my face, others were cool ,though they tried to cool me down .Finally the moment had come for which I was preparing for .Worst part of it is that you have to seat for 5-7 minutes alone outside the interview room.I actually felt like sitting on the ‘hot seat’ on an uncomfortable chair. No need to knock ,as the clerk guy has already opened the door .I asked for the permission to come in,I wished them good morning (probably)smiling and They told me to take seat. For questions and answer let Chairman be CM and other men members M1,M2 ,M3 and lady member as L1.
CM: So you are IIT Kharagpur? Me: yes Sir CM: tell me what you liked there? Me :Sir,There was freedom ,I enjoyed my time watching movies (trying to be lite )and IIT is the land of opportunities. CM: Is it? Me: Yes sir. CM:are restrictions on freedom exists other places? Me:yes sir,in some colleges i have heard that there are lots of restrictions. CM:some people argue that freedom must be absolute? Me: No sir,Freedom must come with responsibility(highly cliched) .People while enjoying their freedom ,they should respoect the freedom of others also.Freedom in Hindi means ‘swadhinta’ which is self control,so control is inherent in the freedom. CM:suppose there is a train and you have got the seat ,will you give it others? Me: yes sir ,I will give it to the elders and disabled.( I had to repeat the word elders thrice so make him hear clearly ,finally other member said him that i am saying elders,I should have used the word old aged). CM:and Women? Me: yes sir that too,and even children. CM: will you give it to a 14 year child? Me: yes sir,I used to feel very bad in my childhood if I had to travel standing in buses so I can understand their pain. CM: tell me why there are lot of rape cases, hooglism happening around,is it due to freedom? Me: sir, while enjoying our own rights ,people often forget rights of others. There are lots of restriction on the movements of women and dressing. CM: so you think that rapes happen due to freedom? Me: no sir (who will ever say this with normal mind?,then there were some other argument and counter argument as I was not clear enough in reasoning probably due to pressure, those lines I don’t remember) …Finally I said ‘Such act of violences are due to patriarchal nature of our society and power culture, the culture of impunity that exists in some section which see it as entitlement …
now finally chairman handed over to let’s say M1 just beside my right.
