Dear friends, I thought we might start a new thread for candidates to share their interview experiences as they happened, so that the rest of us may benefit from their wisdom first and pay it forward later. It will also give insights into the new trends of questions asked, relevant issues to prepare and give us our first peek into the minds of the four new UPSC members. Until tomorrow night today's people may not be free.. After medical they will slowly start putting up their transcripts elsewhere.. I doubt anyone from this whole forum has their interviews on 9 10 11

1. Who is current wadeyar king? what is the status now?

3. Was tippu a king? what was his designation?

II person:
1. What is VSAT? Which band is used for communication and what is transponder?
2. Which orbit for communication satellites?
3. In current scenario, are regional parties are good - what is your opinion?

III person:
1. China building infrastructure in POK- what is it and how does it affect india?
2. Dams built by China- how does it affect us?
3.Whole ukraine issue- how does it affect India?

IV person:
1. what is man vs animal conflict?
2. What is difference between bill, act and ordinance?

1. What constitutes national security? What is cyber security and why is it important?"

In orkut one guy has put up his questions which looks like a solid Q & A session!! I think upsc has taken the pattern change a little bit seriously!
I am happy I knew answers to most of his questions asked, may be that guy was from Karnataka!!

P.S can't copy paste from orkut due to my Mobile OS !

I guess as it is a new board and 1st day of the interview, they may have gone for more fact based questions.

In orkut one guy has put up his questions which looks like a solid Q & A session!! I think upsc has taken the pattern change a little bit seriously!

No wonder I knew most of his answers. Even I did Electronics and Communication and from Bangalore. The only difference is he has the most lengthy-est optional of cse I have the most easiest!!
