How come this exam is level playing, when a section of students could clear it easily without hard work? We can see many cleared tech candidates accepting that they did not prepare for Paper-2. All of us honestly in our hearts know that paper 2 strongly favors techies.
Only because of CSAT, some guys are dare enough to start preparation just before prelims, like learn Telugu in 30 days !! Lol
Without hard work? Do you think that engg., MBAs etc. clear CSAT without hard work? I mean how? Do they get the CSAT paper in their mails in advance or UPSC has given them a privilege of marking any random option and it would still be counted as correct? They have at some point of time prepared very hard for these kind of exams. Do you know how much of effort goes in preparing for IIT/AIEEE/CAT? Shame if you think like this.
Chill buddy !! I have read few toppers interviews where THEY themselves claimed they didn't prepare much
I was saying that they won't work hard for CSAT . I didn't say that they did n't comment about their hard work and struggle in CAT/IIT/AIEEE !!!
You offended me buddy by using the word shame .
Suppose you are an History hon. student passed out of DU who has been reading history throughout college. If someone will ask you what special preparation you did for GS-history, you will say i did not prepare much. That is because you have throughout been putting a lot of efforts. I might have offended you by using the word "shame". I am sorry, but the way you have underlined "without hard work" in your comment has offended many "techies" who have put in their sweat and blood at some point of time.
P.S: The toppers whose interview you have read are toppers not because of CSAT but because of GS , optional and interview.
By underlining 'without hard work' , I meant an entire Paper became easy for them without a need to study much. But paper 1 is equally tough for both arts and techies. My intention was not to comment about hard work they put in their respective exams.
For all those who are saying that hindi heartland people are idiots to protest i would say most of the csat guys(english and techies) do stand nowhere compared to them in gs..and every1 will accept that almost 5k non serious aspirants qualify each years prelims..most of them dont have their optionals prepared by the time pt results are out..so my feeling is that their demands are genuine.. Ps : m too a csat guy

What the toppers implied was that their basics were clear and had studied well in school, hence they didn't require much practise. You and me didn't do that well hence we need to study csat!

Do you have experience of learning telugu in 30 days ??
As I am facing so much heat from others, I couldn't understand whether your comment is sarcastic or you are really asking me about it ?!
1.dharmendra yadav mp loksabha 2.barabanki mp mrs. rawat 3.chitranjan lawyer bombay high court addressed the aspirants.
Todays highlight 1. at 6.0 p.m. during zero hour mr. dharmendra raised the qstn in loksabha. 2.more thn 150 mp's are supporting protest. 3.today a group of mp's will meet mr.modi. 4.more thn 300 protester detained near india gate.
my conclusion 1.Date wil extend(pree in sept. last week) 2.english compr. from 2nd paper wil be removed. 3.compl. english in mains will be of easy nature. ABOUT CSAT PAPER-may be or may not be removed i am not sure about this.
Thanks bro for your valuable information but i have one doubt regarding zero hour. Can it be taken at any time ???usually it is first hour of the meeting
The first hour is the question hour. Zero hour starts after the Q-hr and lasts till the agenda of the day is taken up.
Can it be taken after agneda of the day is over??6.00 pm means mostly after the agenda of the day only...
one thing- by removing english comprehension they would further reduce the chances of a rural non technical background candidate.
why..!!
IIT/MBA students are usually very good at quantitative ability and logical reasoning section.
RCs are the only doubtful area/questions where a person thinks twice what author wants to convey in the passage. if read in a different tone it changes the meaning completely. so even an iitian would get english comprehension wrong. but same is not the case with quant.
in my take if p2 is reduced to quant and logical reasoning and same no of questions are asked then iitians/mba students would finish the paper in one hour itself with 99% accuracy.

At the end of the day it a test of knowledge and skill. Some may be naturally endowed with some skills and you have to work hard to compete with them. Thats the way life is. If working hard is the criteria for merit then a daily wage worker or a rickshaw puller stands a better chance than any of us !
Many Engineering students dont have a clue about GS when they start their prep and have to work hard in it- and they do without complaining.

May be they dont have clue about GS but surely they have knowledge about language their reading.Any one can understand at least something when they study different subject. How if language itself is barrier can he/she understand the subject......How one can learn language with time constraint....
@all , I, personally don't have any problem with CSAT. I am just thinking of rural candidates. I really feel that CSAT is diluting the level playing field. What ever I wrote in my previous comments was to convey the same but no other intention. I am regretting now for expressing it. All the best every one !! arts or techies or who ever.

Better idea get sectional cutoff for both papers.
