@sniper Spot on ! Somewhere there is that shield feeling. I personally know two of my friends who wrote MAINS but they did not know why FDI helps in stabilising rupee depreciation. But they very well know tricks to solve cube/dice prob. And we talk of aptitude and all that bluff. They blame others of memorising GS but they themselves are too good at memorising aptitude tricks like calendar/clock/dice problems. Syllogism/LR tricks. Just because their "ratta" knowledge is fetching them 180 marks they do not refrain from criticising other. They are not less terrorised in taking CSE without 180free/easy marks.
