Bhai aap to IAS ho. Aao Aisa bologe to log yaha demotivate ho jyenge. Log Medical field chhod kr CSE dete hain kyuki services me prestige jyada hai. No doubt docs ki bhi alag hi status Hoti hai. But docs ki life m har step p struggle h. PG ho ya post PG, relax nhi kr skte docs life m kbhi bhi. Kyuki ek to environment highly competitive hota hai aur dusra kitna bhi paisa kama lo satisfaction nhi hota h. Ek line khud se draw karni Hoti h ki kya aur kitna chahiye but individual level p bhot tough hota h. A HAPPY SATISFIED DOCTOR IS A MYTH.
IAS ya kisi bhi services m paisa ho ya na ho, kaam jo bhi karna pade but Apne position se generally log satisfied rehte h. Baki individual choices aur aspirations sab ki alag alag Hoti hai.
Aapki baar ekdam sahi hai. De motivation ke liye nhi bol rha. Sirf isliye bol rha hu k acche se exam do but load mat lo. Pahle hi exam bada bhari tukka hai. Load lene se kuch nhi hoga. Ham apni ego par le Lete hai sab chhezen. Maine bhi li thi. Eventually Jan hona hua tab hua jab mai kuch expect nhi nhi kar rha tha coz exam vaise hi hue the jaise last 2 years hue the and tab toh final list mai name nhi tha.
Rahi satisfaction ki baat - meri sister dm kar rhi hai Delhi mai voh bhi unsatisfied hai. Mera collector bhi unsatisfied hai.
The long and short of poori ramayan is that, study hard since you all have made up your mind but remain under no illusions or delusions.
Good preparation and good fortune will get you rank you wouldn't even know was possible.
Very few results this year... But I ll not recommend doing PG as one who is inclined towards civil services can't get satisfied in MD/MS.. Also it is not possible to prepare while doing PG irrespective of the branch u opted...
I can't decide .. Some of my known are giving state pcs .Their rationale is that they cannot go back to pg preparation and medical field after so many years. They are advising me to do the same. A/T them with the knowledge base I have accumulated during upsc preparation can easily help me in clearing pcs . I am confused . Both cant be prepared simultaneously and i have to decide soon . Can't waste more time now . I have never given pcs , have no idea about exam or job profile . If anyone has some idea , please guide me .
Exact Status of PCS jobs varg from state to state.. But In most of the states Group A jobs are much better than Medical jobs/ MO .. You ll be office head in many of the cases also Recognition and public contact will be much more even more than that of many of central services except IRS.. Also u ll be posted in ur home state
Last year could give interview...this year couldn't clear mains itself...is medical science really being butchered...?Very much in confusion whether to change optional or not?any suggestion friends
The time and energy that any other optional will require if you put the same in Medical Science you can do wonders.
Every year people say that optional get butchered. But when the marklist comes in every optional there are always people above 300.
And optional doesn't stop anyone in mains. It may have bearing in final rank. So if one is not getting through mains it has to be GS+optional.
May be bro..such thoughts come out wen we face these sort of result...but wat was your score last year in medical science last year...and do you have any discussion group for optional..pls let me know..
