  • If someone could please help me on the UPI question...
I've answered that the consequence of UPI would be effectiveness of DBT on the lines that since there are last-mile challenges for people in remote areas to access brick-and-mortar bank branches - they could use UPI to easily access their bank accounts.
All the answer keys say that the implication would be that mobile wallets will not be necessary for online payments. I don't get how this could be the right answer. Investors are still pumping money into the mobile wallet biz (right?) - even after UPI was introduced. Why would they invest if mobile wallets are on the verge of becoming obsolete? Even otherwise, the business case for mobile wallets stays after UPI. Mobile wallets have lower security checks and hence transactions are faster. Besides, people may prefer keeping their main bank accounts off cyberspace, given the threats prevalent, and use mobile wallets instead to keep their risks low.
This is the line of reasoning that led me to (d)
I also marked d on the same line..
  • Thank God I left preparation of this horrible exam after CSE 2016.

The bad thing about this exam is that it is massive wastage of youth's energy and time. But this bad thing is also a positive for India. It keeps youth of India trapped in a dream so that they don't become terrorists out of frustration and ruin this country.

Similar exams should be introduce in Middle east nations if they want to solve terrorism problem

Once the proclamation of president rule was held unconstitution, the same council of ministers got revived. So, not sure why, as per all the keys, "assembly alone is suspended" while "council of ministers are removed". Assemble is suspended and not dissolved because in case of revival it can be done. Same applies to council of ministers also right? Again not arguing for 2.66 marks but just trying to understand. Arguing here won't help in anyway and I know that
  • Hi

One query here. I coded my roll no and booklet series correctly in the OMR sheet. But I am not sure whether the invigilator shaded the booklet series code in his section while signing in OMR. Will this be a problem.

Technically speaking, as per SR Bommai case even after proclamation of president rule council of ministers are not removed but only suspended and after successful floor test or court order it could be revived.
  • Shankar has many wrong answers. NCERT clearly says sutkador had horse fossils. Polity of Shankar is a disaster. Most of them are wrong. DPSP are indeed limitations on state's power. A Pvt member bill was recently passed in RS i.e, "in the parliament" on transgender. Cabinet is for quick decision making and not collective responsibility which is COM. Moreover it was added by amendment. FD are correlated to legal duties e.g, environment protection act, flag code, IPC provisions against public disorders etc. Also constitution gives every indian above 18 the right to vote and the same constitution provides us the right to contest and get elected in the different elections. These rights can't be amended without constitutional amendment unlike the legal rights!
While I will wait for Vaji key for other questions, I just want to point out that that Transgender bill was not the FIRST pvt memb bill to be passed .. the first was in 1970s, I think
