list of doubtful questions/answers in shankar and forum solutions?
Doubtful according to me:
1. Indus valley - Shankar says horse not known. Ancient India old ncert says evidence not conclusive. From my experience, I can say that unless there are conclusive evidences UPSC generally go with what is obvious.
2. Kakatiya - Very tricky. Masulipatnam and Motupalli both can be right
3. Small finance banks - Purpose is for financial inclusion to provide loans for small business and this can encourage rural entrepreneurship. Again previous experience says UPSC will go with the broader viewpoint.
4. Trade disputes act - GS Score says management of industries, Shankar say ban on strikes. Even though strike ban is there, the facility of tribunal as given in option D is not mentioned anywhere. Moreover the directive principle of allowing workers to be part of management is actually taken from british statutes.
5. Butterfly - These things are hard to predict. One can never be sure of consequences of fall in a particular species and generally whatever consequence said will actually be right.
Article 137 in The Constitution Of India 1949 137. Review of judgments or orders by the Supreme Court Subject to the provisions of any law made by Parliament or any rules made under Article 145, the Supreme Court shall have power to review any judgment pronounced or order made by it.

One query here. I coded my roll no and booklet series correctly in the OMR sheet. But I am not sure whether the invigilator shaded the booklet series code in his section while signing in OMR. Will this be a problem.
guys please help me. Does anyone have any idea or know any point of contact who can help me.
Dude, chill .. He might have coded. Even if he didn't, you have coded in your section. Plus you will be surprised to know that your question paper series and answer booklet number is already known to UPSC (unless you changed your OMR). The OMRs are preassigned to each particular roll no

I feel that except 2-3 questions shankar ias key is quite authentic and anyways they are going to release revised key on Tuesday, so let's wait and watch.
Shankar has many wrong answers. NCERT clearly says sutkador had horse fossils. Polity of Shankar is a disaster. Most of them are wrong. DPSP are indeed limitations on state's power. A Pvt member bill was recently passed in RS i.e, "in the parliament" on transgender. Cabinet is for quick decision making and not collective responsibility which is COM. Moreover it was added by amendment. FD are correlated to legal duties e.g, environment protection act, flag code, IPC provisions against public disorders etc. Also constitution gives every indian above 18 the right to vote and the same constitution provides us the right to contest and get elected in the different elections. These rights can't be amended without constitutional amendment unlike the legal rights!
I doubt if DPSP is really a limitation on state's powers. If so, no state would have overturned prohibition.
A private member's bill was recently passed by the RS. but the question specifically states " for the first time in history". there were several private member's bills passed in the 1960s.
Cabinet question is very tricky. You maybe right if we take it in its literal sense. But Laxmikanth says 'cabinet form of government' is merely another name for parliamentary system. So we cant be sure about that.
Also, for fundamental duties and legal provisions regarding the same, I am not very sure if flag code can be described as a legal duty because its just a set of rules made by the executive. Also, is there any specific duties mentioned in Environment protection Act, IPC etc? I think all those are just limitations, not really duties.
I am wrong in the Pvt members bill. Yes it was not the first. As far as the rest is concerned I am very sure though open to discussion. RC Sharma says about horse fossils. DPSP are "fundamental" to governance as per article 37 itself. they are the rights which needed resources and hence were not made enforceable else SC in many cases has clearly stated that they along with FR constitute the wheels of our system. It's not just flag code there is a statue too which prohibits insult to national flag and symbols. Cabinet may be referred as anything by different authors but it was primarily created for quick decision making. were we not following the collective responsibility thing before it was inserted ?
Once the proclamation of president rule was held unconstitution, the same council of ministers got revived. So, not sure why, as per all the keys, "assembly alone is suspended" while "council of ministers are removed". Assemble is suspended and not dissolved because in case of revival it can be done. Same applies to council of ministers also right? Again not arguing for 2.66 marks but just trying to understand. Arguing here won't help in anyway and I know that
yes , exactly i think all three should be right , i am consider mine wrong vaise
