For people Drip irrigation.

Soil erosion is lessened due to negation of washing of top soil.
Weeds are less because of less amount of water available for them to grow.
All plants including weeds reduce soil erosion by binding. But weeds are not intended for the minimum soil erosion exclusion.Instead of weeds farmers can plant crops less spaciously for reducing soil erosion.

For the most discussed soil salinity.
Water needs to be at a certain level for absorption.About say 5m below ground.If it is too near due to capillary action water rises to surface and evaporates.This slowly accumulates salts in top soil.But so flood irrigation helps in reducing soil salinity by taking too much salts by leeching to lower grounds.But too much of flood irrigation also increases by increasing water table height.Read Aswan high dam and water logging leading to salinity.

But the in drip irrigation water doesn't leech.It only remains in the top soil.therefore salt accumulates.Salinity is the natural disadvantage of drip irrigation.
Other being leaking of bisphenols from pipes used for a long time in drip irrigation exposed to sunlight in farms.

Which of the following is/are the advantage /advantages of practising drip irrigation?
1.Reduction in weed (the proper term sudbe weed growth control.. definite reduction in weed is only brought by weedicide . )

2. Reduction in soil salinity(take a piece of land fill it with salt (soil salinity increses ..now when using other method of irrrigatiion the salt wash away to shore .. but with drip irrigation soil salinity remain the same ))


4. Reduction in soil erosion(that will only when water was the cause in all other cases like wind erosion .. there will be )

and also the term in all 3 option were mention reduction which means they were present there before .. but there cause is not mentioned .. so the above mentioned benefit differ with the cause .. .(its like saying changing water supply will result in reduction in any deasease .. (wish if this quetion asked to me in interview .. i cud have them changed there mind with my logics)

I think red sanders are in sesachalam forest and in parts of Karnataka(verrapan).this area sesachalam is near to AP TN border and it receives lesser rainfall due to reasons mentioned in ncert so it can't be tropical forest.that's how I guessed it

somebody living near tropical rain forest of south please plant red sanders tree there and write "very important on them" and send these pictuer with geotagging to UPSC as proof .. beside NCERT were written long back in time and a lot of it has changed since then ..

I think red sanders are in sesachalam forest and in parts of Karnataka(verrapan).this area sesachalam is near to AP TN border and it receives lesser rainfall due to reasons mentioned in ncert so it can't be tropical forest.that's how I guessed it

Also in the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, while enlisting the details of PMFBY, it states about the post-harvest loss while it covers standing crops too. Using subset theory of maths, we can say that the second statement is correct. But, it seems from the question that it is giving details about PMFBY which is not complete in the second statement. The second statement should give complete information about its coverage. Think the same for Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana. If we say that it covers BPL, it is incomplete description since it covers unorganized sector workers too. Second sentence seems to be weak. All depends how you look at it.

I came across the following article of Indian Express. In this article, it says that: "In India, IFC has, over the past two years, rolled out what has grown into a $5.5 billion rupee-denominated bond programme that is aimed at boosting funding for roads, power, and airports." Here, I have a doubt. I completely agree that IFC provide loan to private sector company and not to public sector company. But 'Public sector' may not mean public sector companies. It may mean "public sector projects" such as road, power and airports which may be completed using the private sector finances through IFC masala bonds. Question mentions only public and private sector and since it is using "debt financing" term, it is certainly for projects and not for any public company.
