Postponement of CS Mains 2015 Exam needed, due to Chennai rains

Dear Friends,
Kindly need to gather your support for postponement of mains exam on Dec-18, since one month we Chennaites are facing rain and flooding situations in our homes and mainly in various schools and colleges which used to be centres for UPSC mains exam. As heavy rains flooding our city, we are unable to study properly due to frequent power cut and some aspirants suffering from flu,etc,etc ; Also we are in a pathetic situation to reach to exam centre if rain continuous for another one week. IMD has forecasted that the rain will lasts for another 4 days. The situation is grim here.
Those who are affected pls join to raise our voice for postponement.

Or Relocation of Chennai Centre to somewhere else (lets say Bangalore).

If trains are not running, flights cancelled we could not relocate to Bangalore suddenly. Mainly the rural aspirants who opted to write in chennai centre will face difficulties to relocate.At anycost, Prior information needed for relocation, so that we could move earlier. But better way is to postpone as here not just few candidates need relocation.

anyhow if transferred to other centre on such short notice..how people will arrange for lodging and transportation…i think delay of one month shud be done..BUt in that case..Joining of people who have in 28 dec in respective academies will need to be changed or that cud be secondary...

UPSC should arrange separate exam for Chennai centre people... After one month... Just like UPSC conducted exam for 11 people last year...

Yes. Difficulties arises in lodging and transportation. Change in exam date would be a better option for us without any fear of relocation.

dont worry. upsc will go by the protocol. it will wait till 10th and then only decide on it. everyone is aware of the grnd situation if chennai. just keep on studying. no need to write to anyone, upsc will do the right thing
