  • @gv123 thnx for or moral support.thnx ForumIAS for acting as second home.
  • Could understand your feelings brother . I lost my father on the month of February 2000 , the very next month I was having my 10th board exam ..

    Dont give up man ... @sushanta123 \m/
  • when our father/mother is no more, the best we can do, is try to become a person that they would have been proud of !

Focus on the exam .. it might help you temporarily to get out of the distress that you are currently facing ..
  • Bhai himmat mat haarna maa baap ki.jagah koi nehi le sakta par unke sapne sirf tum hi pure kar sakte ho ur parents blessings ll always b with take care.of urself watever u think.ll make u n ur parents happy do that
  • All my condolences. I know it's painful.
I lost my father when I was 14. When I turned 15, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She too passed away a year later.
All I could say, life did not stop for a minute. Why should you stop?
    I cracked IIT-JEE when I was 18.
And I will try to crack CSE when I turn 23.
Study because you have to fulfill their dreams. Their death could never be a pretext of your failure. You have to play the game of your life, mate. Life is very, very tough. Rise above the grief, to conquer the zenith!
    Good luck.
  • @kay2rock salute to your spirit bro.inspired by u bro.will run wid u bro.
  • @sushanta123: I am very sorry to read about you loss. you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers
Bhai it is very hard keep yourself on track in a situation like this. But always remember these lines it may give you some inner strength
  • @sushanta123

when we loose our loved ones, we only loose the ability to perceive them with our physical senses.....your parents are there with you....,they are your guardian angels.....they will always be there to love you and guide you through life.

and on the ques of y shud you prepare....well what was the reason that made you think about becoming an ias officer in the first place? say your prayers and gratitude for your parents and make them proud of you and your contributions to the society......

take your time to heal but then stand up nd fight back, u only said "I m d proud son of my parents n I will do it" :)

    you can and you will....
    good luck
  • All I can say is - don't hesitate to ask for whatever help or guidance you need. As your senior, I'm always here to help you. Don't lose your faith and courage- your parents want you to lead a successful and happy life. Keep your mind on the exam and don't deviate from the path. I'm sure that you will be a great IAS officer one day. wish you the very, very best.
  • Life goes on. No one is here for ever. Some go early some late. Death of your parents might be painful for you but not necessarily for those who have passed away. It is the end of all the miseries of life. Try to console yourself by thinking that they lived their life and now they are resting somewhere peacefully. Make a motto of your life that you will do something that people will know your parents from your name. This will always inspire you. I lost my mom 2 years back whom i loved most in this world. I was so much dejected but i consoled myself with a will to do something that makes my mother proud. Hopefully it should work for you.
