@fallen_leaves good to know that we belong to same state sir....like parth gupta this year and previous year mv rao's son you too will continue the trend...cheers
These are the views I could gather about IDES IDES - very good but not better than irts. specially for people who wants to study, or are from solid professional background. those few who want to relax can go for it. training six months only. very amazing infra and facilities. red light ambassador early than ias. but one type of work ur whole life.
But when I checked the service allocation of last years, I found out that this service is amongst the last ones chosen by everyone.
It would be really nice if someone could give more information about IDES. And please give a comparison between IDAS,ICAS,IRAS and is IDES a better option than the above accounts services or not ?
Red light ambassador for IAS .. ? Oops not seen one except High Ranked officers [Chief Secretary ] in my State .. Couple of months ago Collector's Car [just blue light] was confiscated due to bill arrears
@vibin Red Light / Yellow Light / Blue Light are state-specific. Even the SDMs in Delhi use Red Light, whereas even the Chief Secy in many states don't use Red Light, where Red Light is limited to Political executive. And then you have state like UP, where you have the Blue Light.
Anyways I GUESS when @rinkeshyadav said Red Light, it was more symbolic than specific Red color over Blue or Yellow.
Addition -> What is the relevance of a Collector's car (JUST Blue Light) getting confiscated to the earlier comments or to this thread. Just wondering!
Guys please if keep the discussion focused on significant aspects of services/cadres/hobbies and other important parts of DAF... Learning about usage of beacons and regulations on it for GS is fine
But Worrying about Beacon colors and when you will get them is as trivial as discussing whether you get a sedan or hatchback, which model will it be, will there be A/c in it...
@fallen_leaves strictly no offense .. I think I made a bad joke .. But you seems to more serious , whenever I do it .. :-?
@Vibin Lol. I have no personal animosity towards you, rather I have all due respect as a fellow aspirant. I can understand about a joke here and there, however, I wonder what is the context/logic of cracking jokes in between serious discussions. That too from a senior and serious aspirant like you. It becomes a little irritating at times. That is just my opinion with no offence intended.
Anyways its a public forum, you have your freedom to crack jokes and I have mine to respond.
I think adding the phrase "Just Kidding" at the end of any comment that you intend to be funny but you are not sure how it will be perceived would be a very simple solution to this minor communication gap that is creating major animosity...
@caartey There is no animosity, from my end at-least. I appreciate the initiative you have taken and believe that this thread would be really useful for people, while filling up the DAF. For Eg. The IDAS case that you mentioned. It helps people know that you would be allotted from ONLY those services that you mention, whereas for the Cadres (once into IAS/IPS) this is not applicable. However, when I find random jokes, it not only seem a little out-of-context but also a little irritating.
I am just expressing my opinion, like everyone else!
