  • Ok, so this is serious..
    I think I asked this before as well, but didn't get any reply!

    Does the interview board peruse the whole DAF of the candidate or just the summary of it?
    Can someone who has appeared for the interview answer?
    @matt2damon ? who else?
    @tintin I am not aware about the answer but tagging others who have appeared for interview. @neyawn @slyth @robinold @kammo are few that I remember.

  • @all. is there any general order of state preference? If so what is it and why?
    there's no such standard state preference as such imo.. just go on selecting the states which nears to your home state.

    after 'selected top few' who get their 1st choice cadre...its then kinda lottery system each year its different alphabet say its H for 2013 the first person in merit list after 'selected few' gets the states starting from letter H and then I so on..correct me if am wrong
  • rukmani riar with her air 2 rank could get her home state punjab easily but she chose rajasthan 8->

    this system of allotment is long gone... now they just take your state preference and allot according to your merit as simple as that. Rukmani Riar couldn't get her home cadre of punjab because there were no vacancies in general merit category for punjab in 2012 batch.

    Bro as far as I know, only the chairman has your DAF and rest of the members has just the summary sheet.

    some choose according to the money they can make but they get it or not obviously depends on their rank
    =))

    @Caartey Thanks for starting this thread - very very useful at this time.

    Does anyone know about Ordnance Factory Services? What are the growth opportunities in this service?
