@gks..if we say 'give chance to anyone who filled the form in 2015' would also include 2011 candidates... i only fear from consequential age relaxation...if this would be the case..it will be 33 or 34 depending on what no of attempts government provide....its better if we not mention age relaxation...the fact is that its a temporary measure unlike the 2013 case which made no of attempts 6 and age 32.....so no need to mention age relaxation...
Actually this is a solid point. Like the 2011 ones who filled the 2015 prelims form, we were told not to claim age relaxation. There was just a line in the form that are you 2011 attempters - yes or no. Age relaxation would imply something permanent which the government will be reluctant to do because they cannot roll it back after one year.
it is not mistake of anyboday , it is just because you are looking at ONLY ONE portion of the draft, so some items might feel out-of-context in this SHORT snippet.
Lets go through (a) through (d) again, this time With me -> (a) we request one attempt for the reason mentioned in (a) (b) we request another attempt for the reason mentioned in (b) because we've already requested one attempt in (a) (d) we DEMAND 2 attempts by adding (a) + (b)
Govt granted fresh attempts to all in 1979 only because of introduction of preliminary exam.As this stage excludes most candidates, its importance was appreciated well by the then govt.
we demand (1) the restoration of this 1 year age limit and 1 attempt (2)compensation for wasted one year of everybody’s life whose chances of clearing the prelims in 2015 were drastically reduced by aforesaid changes
by providing two extra attempts and consequential age relaxation to everyone who filled the form for 2015 prelims exam
@gks bhai my two points: 1. better to write WE HUMBLY REQUEST than demand and WE ARE "appreciative of changes to be brought further". but since it was short notice and on similar ground 2011 people have been given attempt , so we too hope for justice. 2. order of points should be (b), (c ) and then (a).talking about 2013 in initial line gives a wrong perception.
Govt granted fresh attempts to all in 1979 only because of introduction of preliminary exam.As this stage excludes most candidates, its importance was appreciated well by the then govt.
besides the number of candidates has gone up by leaps and bounds in the recent past. This fact underlies the practicality of preliminary exam.
it is understood that sentences are long which may become difficult to first dissect and then combine. but in legal / semi-legal documents this style is needed in order to convey the correct and clear message.
What if present committee comes up with some new pattern for, say 2017, then will we again demand another attempt as the two attempt that we ate demandin as per draft will extend to 2017? I think we must link our demands with the prospective committee recommendations so that we dont get into such embarrassin situation once again as are presetly into. Just being optimistic that we are getting two attempts.

how could one protest against a recommendation that is not yet made ?
and how could we demand relaxation for something that has not yet been imposed on us ?
