@gks..bro..you mean...'an extra attempt to all candidates who filled the form in 2015' is included...sorry for bugging you...i know u r very busy.. .if this is the case..it will include everyone...that's fine...i am ok with this...but still i feel to write 'an an extra attempt to all candidates who appeared in 2015' is better way to say...nevertheless..it depends on different individuals...
Next 10 minutes - please participate actively - after that i'll upload the final draft -
Please consider the below point and provide your suggestions ->
So we demand a similar treatment for 2015 candidates also.
(a) Out of the two extra attempts provided by the government after 2013 changes, one attempt has been nullified by introducing the changes again in 2015 thus leaving the effective extra attempt to one only. We request the authority and government to restore this wasted 2015 attempt by providing an extra attempt and consequential age relaxation.
(b) Also candidates are badly affected by the changes introduced in 2015 on such a short notice, so we request another extra attempt and consequential age relaxation for 2015 changes.
(c) In the history of civil services exam in India, 2015 was a unique year when the selection in the prelims was made based on a single paper instead of two papers, whatever those two papers had been, and that too on an insufficient notice of only three months.
(d) Because there is no straight way to find exactly whose preparation got affected out of 10 lac candidates, we demand the restoration of this 1 year age limitand 1 attempt and compensation for wasted one year of everybody’s life whose chances of clearing the prelims in 2015 were drastically reduced by aforesaid changes, by providing two extra attempts and consequential age relaxation to everyone who filled the form for 2015 prelims exam (which can also be done by allowing a general increase in the age by two years and allowing two extra attempts to all who filled the form for prelims exam in 2015) in order to do a fair and just treatment to all.
2011 request is NOT included in DETAIL in this application, another application would be sent for 2011 and women candidates after we get 20% success in it.
Please think if we say 'give chance to anyone who filled the form in 2015' - DID 2011 CANDIDATES FILLED THE FORM OR NOT in 2015 ?
They should be AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED.
as one of us suggested - lets us let the govt fill the gaps,
AS MANY THINGS WE WOULD MENTION - AS MUCH RESTRICTIVE & LIMITED OUR APPLICATION WOULD BE.
Yar..but no job is humiliating..excel where u r....ias ips cant reach the prestige of kalam aur amartya sen....btw i m also aspirant...indian bcrats cant even manage muhrram n puja....they cant decide route so that clashes cud be avoided....
Interesting point (route) you brought up there. I think that's s because they are always afraid of evert decision they take. Always trying to play safe
In the history of civil services exam in India, 2015 was a unique year when the selection in the prelims was made based on a single paper instead of two papers, whatever those two papers had been, and that too on an insufficient notice of only three months."In the earlier two-paper scheme,GS paper has always in fact played minor role in aggregate score of candidates"
Also the change in 2015 was highly significant because most of the candidates devoted 6-8 months for second paper’s preparation because of the potential of this paper to fetch much higher marks in comparison to Paper-I towards the final score in Preliminary Exam [4] because the minimum cut off for preliminary exam, 2013 was 30 marks in Paper-I and 70 marks in Paper-II which confirms the fact that Paper-II is highly scoring in comparison to Paper-I, despite the equivalence of marks in Paper-I and Paper-II.

@gks..if we say 'give chance to anyone who filled the form in 2015' would also include 2011 candidates... i only fear from consequential age relaxation...if this would be the case..it will be 33 or 34 depending on what no of attempts government provide....its better if we not mention age relaxation...the fact is that its a temporary measure unlike the 2013 case which made no of attempts 6 and age 32.....so no need to mention age relaxation...
Is the points you uploaded in the exact language to be used in the draft? There could be some problems.
- like we should use "request" rather than "demand"
- so we request another extra attempt and consequential age relaxation for 2015 changes. -> remove the word "another extra" . otherwise it emphasizes that govt has already given many extra attempts
- we demand the restoration of this 1 year age limit and 1 attempt. This line seems odd grammatically. It does not seem to convey what you want to.
etc
petty drafting points i feel. Nothing major. I'm sure you have people to clean up the language. I'm sort of a grammar nazi so i nitpick.
