Most of the people especially hindi coaching walas who are shedding tears for hindi medium students get their children educated in top English medium schools! Why not Hindi medium schools?
Hypocrites!
Exactly..it's not abt Hindi ...its abt incompetency.
What incompetencies are you talking about? How can solving a CSAT exam make you more competent than someone who can't solve it because of so many factors in his life?
We should appreciate diverse skill sets each of us have. We should also acknowledge that someone is good at rote system of learning. I feel nothing wrong in that. Logic and reasoning is OK but as a civil servant you require emotional intelligence as well which none of the papers test.
Also, studying and implementing principles you have studied are entirely different. People study ethics and indulge in plagiarism in the name of mutual cooperation. The entire system of competition in our country stems from excessive competition and we somehow try to get rid of this excessive number of aspirants. Till the time we keep our hopes pegged up to these limited opportunities, we will keep on fighting like this.
A country has to be build by the youth and we can actually contribute towards national building process even without being an IAS. The fact is, we are not here to build our country. We are here to get high from the power which this post gives us. That is the biggest incompetency which we need to overcome.

How can you be so judgmental? As an officer, you need to use your senses in the best possible way and making an opinion out of single sentence of a person shows something not suitable for this position. At least, empathize with each other and make it a healthy discussion rather than just pointing out fingers on each other.
