@thesheowl Hi all . Could you pls tell me wat is the next procedure. I just completed MA in pub ad. How is aggregate calculated and how much minimum agregate u need for applying phd. Pls guide. Thank you in advance
Is there anybody who has written IGNOU exams with MPS ? I wrote Dec. TEE and got horrible marks. I am attaching my marks sheet here ..Are these marks final?
Even mine also MPS ,bt they mentioned that results are incmplete, more results yet to follow .
@homerjsimpson I think percentage of your total final marks is the aggregate and I guess most of the univs have 55% aggregate as minimum requirement for PhD.

@homerjsimpson Yeah, take 30% of sum of TMA marks of all papers + 70% of sum of all term end marks and you will get a number, say "Total" - Now your aggregate is (Total/400) * 100. This is for one year. For two years, calculate totals for all 8 papers and replace 400 with 800 or according to the number of subjects you have. I calculated like this and I think this is how it is done. If you ask me again, I might say I am not really sure. I checked the supplement and there is no mention of any method, so just assumed this would be it. Hope it helps.
@homerjsimpson Glad for you, and I am happy to have my method confirmed to be true. I have to write my Term-end this June. Really very busy with assignments, due date being March 31. So what is your aggregate?
63% . Frankly didn't prepare for it. Just tat has given mains before and gave ignou papers with that knowledge.. All the best for assignments. As per my knowledge try not to research while writing assignments as the evaluator hardly acknowledges our efforts. U can probably use ur skills in term end exams.
