During last year's CSAT i couldnt understand the reading comprehension related to pollution in English so I read its hindi translation and was able to find correct answers of all the related questions of the passage in this way so I doubt the intelligence and capability of person who says that hindi translations are not good ..
PS: I did qualify for mains.
and yes I hope those who have brought this upon me die and go to hell
स.लो.से.आ. की परिक्षा कोई कला और मानवता के छात्रों के बाप दादा की जागीर नहीं के उसमे गणित के सवाल नहीं आ सकते। :D:D

Next year these guys will again sit on dharna claiming that Prelims format was suddenly changed in 2014 which was detrimental to us... so we demand few extra attempts...
Give them unlimited attempts even then they wont be able to crack because they only thing they know is to beg for attempts and change of syllabus...itna tym padne mein lgaate to kuch ho jaata

It will be injustice to south Indians if they change the pattern by scraping CSAT. Most of urban English medium south Indians don't prefer govt jobs. It is only those rural background students who studied in their respective vernacular medium aspire for govt jobs. When they are not protesting(not even tamilians) as Csat has discriminated in favour of rural hindi medium students(with hindi translation) and no other language rural background students are provided with their vernacular translations, it is definitely not good on the part of govt to play vote bank politics and agree to their demands. They should site the example of south Indians and end the matter. All these days I opposed tamilians opposing hindi(Because in AP n Telangana we are have hindi as 2nd language). But now I think it is only because of them, we south indians are left with atleast a small identity.

absolutely true . but you should have written it like this : " स.लो.से.आ. की परिक्षा कोई कला और मानवता के छात्रों के बाप दादा की जागीर नहीं के उसमे गणित, तर्क शक्ति परीक्षण एवं अंग्रेजी की आधारभूत समझ से सम्बंधित सवाल नहीं आ सकते। :D:D"
@barney123_bob ,,,hindi medium aspirants are protesting ,it is their democratic right if tamil medium aspirants are not protesting for tamil it is there choice it means you are ok with english ,only you are responsible for your actions & we are responsible for our's , if you want paper in tamil then demand for it but why are you opposing hindi medium aspirants who just asking for their rights ??
It is their right to protest unless their demands doesn't infringe upon others' rights ! For example, I cannot protest saying a certain section should not be granted a particular right. That is how this protest is. They want everything to be spoonfed to them in Hindi, and the rest should struggle with Hindi !
If left as such, they may even protest one day saying everyone must write in Hindi or a compulsory paper in Hindi should be there for all !
They are able to do this just because the capital and UPSC HQ falls in the Hindi belt. Is it our fault that HQ of UPSC is in the Hindi belt ? I can't imagine a case where we can go and protest for our language somewhere in the Hindi belt, esp in a place like Delhi, where Hindi chauvinism is high !
how demanding proper translation of question paper will affect your rights ?? how demanding proper checking of question paper will affect your rights ?? they are not protesting against any language , in fact they are just demanding that there should be a proper translation of question paper in every scheduled language like tamil , hindi , malyalam etc (as desired by aspirants in his application form ) , how it is against your rights ?? you will still get question paper in english + any other language as desired by you , you don't need to learn hindi , we are not forcing you . how it will affect your rights ??
yes basic English is necessary & it can be checked it any one stage of exam , but why they are checking it at every stage of exam (pre , mains , interview ) ??
it is not our fault that delhi is in hindi belt ,it is not our fault that we could not get education en a convent school. why we should not ask for our rights ??
why there are schools in hindi , tamil & any other regional language when they just want english medium students ??
please understand there are only 26 hindi & 25 other regional students who could pass this exam without english medium , this is injustice to every aspirant who did his schooling from a non-english medium school , this exam should test for the administrative qualities rather than english , we are not giving exam to become english professor .
//"In 2013, of the total 1,122 successful civil service candidates merely 26 are from Hindi-medium background," the letter to the PM states. Senapati said prior to the introduction of the civil services aptitude test (CSAT) Paper II in 2011, successful candidates from Hindi-medium schools was about 45% in the preliminary examination of the civil services.
"Since after 2011 (when CSAT paper II came into effect) only about 13 percent Hindi medium background candidates are successful in the preliminary qualification round," said ABVP leader demanding from the Prime Minister to issue orders for removing CSAT paper II and also sought printing of the question paper in Hindi language.
"Strict orders should be given to UPSC board members not to pressurize Hindi-speaking candidates to answer in English language in the interview," demanded the BJP's students arm from the PM. //
Find me where they are asking other languages should be given their due ? It's only Hindi and Hindi everywhere.
The questions they ask is in basic English , basic Math. You needn't need CAT level skills to attend this paper. I know Tamil medium students who cleared this paper without ever complaining about this. The first 2 ranks in TN were Tamil medium students. Did they even have translation in TAMIL for CSAT ? Use your brain, for pete's sake !
But sorry to say, Hindi speakers are a demanding lot. All they want now is for the Govt to literally spoonfed them. Better cancel these exams and recruit Hindi speakers directly. Why even look at other states ?
I'll fully support them if they want an independent Hindi belt , if it means we can be spared of living as second class citizens within this own country !

1. It won't make any difference to me.
2. It isn't official.
No wonder you don't like CSAT, you are weak at comprehension. So let me translate that for you in Kannada,
ಇದು ನನಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಇದು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಅಲ್ಲ.
