@VIP for paper 1 i have to thank my sir here in chennai.. he only guided me ..i never referred any book for p-1 only his printed materials and class notes... but the same thing doesnt work for p-2 ...

bhai how big were your answers? For example, for a 25 marker I wrote approximately 2.5 pages which comes out to be around ~ 300 words. Also, can you give some pointers on how to write a good conclusion. For example, let's say if the question is Critically examine functionalist theories of religion - Please suggest changes in this conclusion (smaller, bigger, content etc.):
Functionalist theories see religion in a positive light and have been conservative in evaluating religious beliefs. Their failure to explain dysfunctions and divisions present in religious systems has limited their relevance in contemporary societies.

1. write in a flowery language with all sociological terms loaded in it.
2. write as simple as you can albeit with sociological perspective.
I think it is better to go with the first one as far as socio is concerned.. Your views ?
