Does anyone know whats the highest in Sociology. I see max 220ish. nothing like the 290 in economics. Does that mean we lose 100 marks just bec of subject. No scaling this time? isn't scaling done to equalise marks across subjects? Someone should have got 250+ surely then
@Sleeplessnights_89 the same thing happened with me too...despite being among the top in test series in vajiram i have scored a meager 56 in paper 1..i still couldn't find out how after attempting the whole paper 1 correctly i could get such marks....
omg..then there must be something seriously wrong about the valuation..injustice

its exactly the optional that decided the fate between toppers and people like me who came back to street..which means this year sociology is the pub ad of last year..is there any god on earth?
i daily checks out ads of sociology coachings so that i can see if somebody crossed 125 even in paper-1 , forget about paper-2 but till now there has been none..
It is clear that UPSC has no logical system of marking across optionals: sociology has been murdered even though the question papers were ordinary. This is insane.

mate got 108 in paper 2 .strategy--search for thinkers even for general topics.read neera chandhoke and if u dnt know any thinker then say according to chandhoke Can you please tell me strategy in paper 1 , got only 68 and hence got killed. @all one of my friend got rank in 500's got 102 in paper 1 and 106 in paper 2.This is the max marks in socio that i have seen this time around.
