@rookie This is called collective BS! One person apparently encourages another with some apparent "rumours". Very observable trend on any rumour threads.

Assess your rank in the group of 10-20-30 people you know. Well this is a group of 10-20-30 people right here. What is the average of expected mains scores for all the ppl who got an interview call? 670 seem about right? @rajatsen
Isn't 670 steep as well? Considering a person gets 70 in GS Paper 4, 75 in Paper 1, 90 each in 2 and 3, that still leaves room for about 345 marks, innit? A 125 in essay and 225 in the optional subject is a fantastic score, man! Just saying.

Last year (my first attempt), I calculated all the marks individually for each question with a lot of gusto only to end up not clearing mains. The irony is that I got more than what I expected in all the subjects but 90 out of 600 in pub ad (proud member of hall of shame ). So this time I didn't even count the number of questions attempted. That being said, I asked all the girls during medical how their mains went and I quote "horrible, not good, how can anyone say their mains went well, you won't find anyone who will say it was good". People with pub ad said the paper was much better than last time's though. Many thought they would just cross the cut of because of papers 1&3.
P.S. none of this is really helpful. I am just ranting because I have nothing else to do
