this question is indirectly asking which of the following method ll help in better crop growth.. 1.Contour Binding=yes helps in dealing with soil erosion you do planting across(transversely) gentle slopes with bunding..eg.If slope is from North to South then you do planting from East to west or vice versa on that slope with small bunds to hold the water/runover soil.. 2.Relay Cropping =plainting crops one after the another..2nd crop is planted just before the harvesting of the first=No fallowiing,weed growth is minimum,soil erosion is minimum 3.Zero Tillage mean u don't overturn your soil..If do tillage in such condition then loose soil ll lead to soil erosion,+Water/moisture of the soil is lost also some beneficial organism inside the soil..Zero tillage=>also provides organic matter..by the leftovers of the previous crops..
carbon sequesteration is putting back the atmospheric carbon back inside soil. plants capture carbon and when dies if we allow to get back inside soil then option B and C is correct .
Soil erosion hinders this process . So Contour Binding is also seems correct . But it directly dosnt helps in the process. Wouldnt it be over streaching ? Confused .. 8-}
The mechanism of zero tillage is that the carbon that is present in the soil in organic form is retained....whereas in a tilled farm this carbon mixes with oxygen and escapes...also in tilling tractors adds to co2 emissions...that said how will contour bunding and relay cropping help in sequestration...please explain @Teddy

African Savannah can be rejected outright as it does not have extreme climate. But rest all three are true for steppe, prairie and Tundra. how do we do this?

Here is a small stupid question from polity......(apologies for asking here).....Last year a question came that asked who has the power to increase the number of judges of SC.....the answer was Parliament......
I can understand that such a power may not be given to judiciary for lack of funds with executive.....but why not executive itself....President of India?.......why is it so important to be given to Parliament and not President....Plz explain this as well....
