IMHO, Don't join any of them.. it is a sheer waste of time.. I have seen most of the students qualifying this time in mains are without coaching.. Plus preparing for UPSC is no rocket science which requires some very specialized coaching.. Don't waste your precious money on their silly boring lectures.. It is very difficult to earn money which we have to squander on their high fees.. Many of my friends who attended such classes haven't even qualified the prelims.. remember it is your own passion and drive which will see you through and not attending some delhi wallah's self proclaimed classes
@guten_tag agree with you..but different ppl have different needs...for ex. in my case,i am joining the coaching for the sake of continuity...it can be very monotonous sometimes when you are preparing all by yourself...apart from that, it has always been easy for me to grasp things quickly when i attend classes/lectures (my personal experience)...hope i will able to get knowledge worth of the fees charged by them.. >-

Anyway in Sriram you get to attend demo lectures by making a real or prank call and telling them this call is from the secretary of some high minister and asking them that minister niece/ nephew (gaavwala ) or any relative wish to attend your lectures. Then the person on other end gets frightened and say.. yess.. yess.. yess.. yess do send your relative to our class we will be glad to have him/her.. don't worry about the fees we will provide you discount
Rush for srirams ias is comparatively less than vajiram. Seats remain available in srirams even a few days before the batch starts. So first you can try for vajiram. In case you are not able to get a seat there you can go for srirams ias.
