Catch-22 : Vajiram / Sriram admissions 2015.

Dear friends.
I went through the threads on vajiram vs sriram on the forum and have come to the conclusion that both are equally good. I had decided to join Vajiram, but then their admissions would only start in May- June. On the other hand srirams admissions for 2015 have already started and the rush this year is very high ( don't know why!). Now the problem with vajiram is their online admission process. Its like booking a tatkal ticket! The slot gets filled up in under an hour. Last time a friend of mine could not get admission as the server was down due to high traffic and it was all over in an hour. Then he decided to go to sriram but unfortunately by that time even sriram seats were full, so could not get even sriram( sriram does off line admissions). This is bothering me. Should I wait till June for Vajiram ( which is risky!) or straight away go with srirams right now itself? Please suggest a way around if possible.

Admissions in Sriram's have already started? I have been checking their website, but no info is given there...anyways, is there any strategy which can guarantee admission in vaji ? I have heard people start queuing up from early morning/last night on the day of registration...is it true?

Sriram is yet to make an announcement on their website but their admissions have already started, ! Even i have heard similar things about vajiram. Seniors pls guide.

@Ashish_Electrical - Yes admissions at Sriram started already. I have joined the 11am to 1pm batch there.

What is the fees for this year,i.e., 2014-15? What is the batch strength?

Its 1 lac 5 thousand for prelim cum mains without CSAT.
1 lac 16 thousand for prelim cum mains with CSAT.
Batch strength will be high for sure. he did not give a number.

Sriram and Vajiram both have 300-350 students in a batch. There is no harm in waiting for Vajiram. Last year they announced only 4 batches at the time of registration but when many students failed to get a seat they started 5 more batches. At present 18 gs batches are simultaneously running.

Going by what you guys have just mentioned of 300-350 students in 15-18 batches and with a fee of 1 or 1.30 LACS INR this comes upto a total of 60-70 crore which is whopping earning..Even after paying salaries of
all the teachers and other expenses there will be much to bank upon.

P.S. I was free and just stopped by,thereby calculated all this.Nothing serious.Continue your conversation.
