Yaar.. what is this difference between B. Tech. and B. E.? IT and ITeS? IT and ICT?
B.E could be more of theoretical one . Since it was the course started earlier than BTech , so students would be more inclined towards research purposes[nothing much to do ] . BTech the advance one , which uses more application which we see today who cant wait for an output by research , instead with trial and error .

Of all the places, I found an answer on wiki.answers.com "BTech is more skill and practical oriented study of engineering and BE is knowledge and theory based". I would have blurted out - "There is not much difference in BE and BTech as they are being taught in colleges and universities today. The syllabus of these institutes is more or less the same".
@abhishekg Osmania University offers BE and JNTU offers BTech in AP. Both are full-fledged universities.
Or is it that if you are from deemed universities OR technological universities (JNTU, IIT, IT-BHU, NIT etc.) you will get BTech and if you are from normal universities (Osmania, DU, JNU, IGNOU etc.) you get BE?
