And why should we accept "caste" is an absolute evil .I do not think Caste is a evil system only(Even though I used to think so) .One can not reduce such a complex aspect to simplistic good vs evil rationale. Especially when OBC castes and Scheduled castes(esp Buddhist) have become better organized than any forward caste.It is only because of formidable organization that has turned this castes into a powerful votebank which ensures that they will always be positively discriminated.
No Caste consciousness=No Organization= No vote bank= You are on your own.
And regarding discrimination in interview?? One only needs to see exponential rise in numbers of minority community candidates successful in UPSC or Rank one belonging non general male candidates to conclude how Govt is setting up "examples" for youth (especially minority and women). If this is conspiracy than discrimination in favour of upper caste too is a conspiracy and nothing more.

Poor you considering upsc as the main caste game. Majority rely on the lower grade gorvenment jobs and we know the interview scenes there. If you don't then i really have nothing to comment. Upsc is majorly transparent in interviews. Sorry if you could infere that from my comment.
And about organisation. I suppose when you are talking about castes you are talking about political consciousness of yadavs in up and bihar? Then dear just like your examples of 'Meena' and 'jadavs' i hope you can categorise 'yadavs' too in the castes that have grabbed major benefits. What about the other sc,st, obc castes - simply saying better organisation does not mean there is better organisation within castes of that community. Or the parents and community members of these castes have got educated and can value a provate job equally, or have stopped thinking of a 22 plus girl as someone who should be married as soon as possible or have gained the needed infrastructure in their villages which can be easily found in nearby upper caste areas. Just this internet era and people raising voice against being humiliated in public eyes , does not mean they have got the needed social eduactional progress. Organisation ... damned if you do raise your voice damned if you don't
