bhai I don't trust everyone. 95% atleast are lier to varying degrees! 7-8 people I know and trust are getting between 97-112. all of them have written mains in the past and are very very serious candidates. 2-3 people who have always been in 130ish are between 100-110 only! but then keys this year holds the key. I am sure it will vary between 8-10 marks atleast. even now insight, forumias, Shankar, Vaji, Vision, Mrunal etc are differing on 3-4 questions unlike previous years! it will be low for sure. if people are true in stating the marks of their peer group as above then I won't be surprised if it's around 100 only. but more or less everyone feels ki 104-5 will be the worst scenario...

How did you calculate that? UPSC has never provided percentile to the candidates in past years ... How did u arrive at 1 lakh.
No way cuttof would be less than 110, don't fall in the trap of the coaching institutes who on purpose project low cuttoffs

matlab main nehi padh raha hun too aur bhi kisi ko padh ne nehi dunga ....
ye humhare analysis for 2017 cutoff .... 2014 mein jyada seats thi...agar 2013 se barabar seats hote ..to cutoff sayad 3-4 marks increase hota plus 15 marks extra hote hai usmein(2013 mein basic English vala portion)...lekin meri tarah hindi medium valo ke usmein around 8 marks aate aur English valo ke around 13...so on average 11 marks maan lo....so u can increase the cutoff by 15 marks...i.e in 2014 at same level with 2013....cutoff would have been 220...matlab 21 marks ka fall in difficult paper...lekin 2014 mein csat tha uske effect ko hataye to kariban 21 mein se 12 marks decrease kar sakte hai....so fall of 9 marks in gs based on difficulty of paper.....
lekin 2017 aur jyada khatin hai 2014 gs se to fall kariban 11-12 marks tak ka ho sakta hai... 2016 mein cutoff 116..us hisaab se 2017 mein 104... lekin 2017 mein seats kariban (1209-988=)231 kam hai....cutoff ke aas paas crowding hota hai to 231*13= kariban 3000...matlab is baar kariban 12000 hi select hoga....1 mark par 1000 to mil hi jayega....matlab 3 marks badega kam seat se.....
to hamou lagta hai 104+3 = 107 cutoff hoga....
2013 tk 6 questions decision making k bhi aate the jinme negative marking nhi hoti thi lekin agar khatin paper banta to vo question bhi khatin hote...ha negative mark ka point achha hai....negative mark ko consider kar 2.5 marks maan lo....lekin vo csat kar portion mein hai to uska gs mein effect kariban ek no ka hoga....107+1=108......ye to phir kejri ki range mein aaye gya phir.....
lekin kya kare man nhi manta paper dekh kar(yha tak bina keys dekhe phir se paper banye aur dono compare kiye lekin marks 3-4 no se jyada nhi bada....to samj sakte hai kitna khatin paper hai ye)..aur saath valo ke no sun kar ....humra man kehta hai 100-101 hi hoga.....
lekin kya kare dil to bacha hai ji.....
bhai itna mains me likh dena selection ho jayega...
+1 Ppl desperately wasting their time n energy. They hv not found better way to vent out their anxiety. So they r cooking these long theories...

Bhai 100 baar bol chuke ho ye baat...aur 200-300 baar bol do "mark my words" etc...upsc bhi maan jaegi fir..
