Hi.. Is there anyone out there who is confidently going ahead with preparation of Mains despite a score between 100-103? I'd like you to please write a message to help your fellow, very anxious comrades. Those who want to say anything even remotely negative please waste your energy elsewhere!
I'd like to add that in 2014 there was a person @vignesh (if I'm not wrong) who wrote in detail how the cut off wouldnt breach 206 (and it didnt!!) when everyone was bull shitting like they are today..It provided me some solace. I looked for his comment this time too..but a cursory search hasnt thrown anything! Let's discuss something positive which will ensure we can tame our mind for the coming 30-40 days..

ORN is a better place to judge the cut off, what's the atmosphere in ORN?

pehle vo log disputed questions ko hata kar apne marks batate hai....90+..ya 100+....aur unke disputed kariban 5-6 questions hote hai.....ye kaam especially selected civil servants karte hai.....asliyat mein unke ek key jaise shanker se....120+ hi aa rhe hote hai....
doosre vo hote hai jo apne marks inflate karke batate hai....jo bhi disputed ques hote hai...unke answer jis key se bhi shi hote hai add kar lete hai..aur bolte hai ki aa rhe hai 110+.....
ab batao aise mauhal mein kaise predict hoga ki cutoff kya jaye....jaise extreme data set pe kya predict kiya....
baad mein jab pre result aata hai....to log apne asli marks share karte hai.....jishe dekh kar lagta hai ki cutoff to yhi hona chahiye jaise 2016 mein forumias pe logo ne kiya....
saal pehle sab 100-105 ka ratta laga rhe the....baad mein pre result ke baad sab 120+ share kar rhe the....
aur bhailog what happening??? kya bhav chal rha hai??main to karol bagh aa gaya.......AAI..Forumias air L2A join kar liya for tests....aur chhokku ko for ca ....ab cutoff ki chhod di maine......pata nhi darr bhi lag rha hai kahin mera copy reject na ho jaye for using whitener in 1 q....but jo ho ....aur yahan bhaiya bhaav chal rha hai 104-+3....jahan jahan gaya wahi bole log aur teachers

bhai I don't trust everyone. 95% atleast are lier to varying degrees! 7-8 people I know and trust are getting between 97-112. all of them have written mains in the past and are very very serious candidates. 2-3 people who have always been in 130ish are between 100-110 only! but then keys this year holds the key. I am sure it will vary between 8-10 marks atleast. even now insight, forumias, Shankar, Vaji, Vision, Mrunal etc are differing on 3-4 questions unlike previous years! it will be low for sure. if people are true in stating the marks of their peer group as above then I won't be surprised if it's around 100 only. but more or less everyone feels ki 104-5 will be the worst scenario...

How did you calculate that? UPSC has never provided percentile to the candidates in past years ... How did u arrive at 1 lakh.
