@Neyawn sir my college days was very less productive means I hardly studied 2 hours most study in the last week of sem. And performance was really below average 50% marks PS. I m a physics grad. From a central university
Rest the question is the same as spsahab asked Plzz put ur valuable words Thanks!
Your inability to not be able to study is simply because you have not studied in a long while. The good news is migrating from Physics to GS is fun, if this is your first attempt , as there are totally new things to know.
You cannot study 10 hours a day from day zero. So accept that and aim for 4-5 hours a day with all sincerity. The minds capacity will increase over a period of time.
Also, it is quite likely that you would have given up on memorising since you have not done that in a long time. With time, you will be able to do that too. Just set small goals, create to do lists and dont give up too easily.
Its very similar to working out in the gym. You start small, but you do it over a period of time , you get results. Its scientific and replicable by everyone who doesnt give up too easily or starts with new plan without exhausting the current one.
Dont listen to your mind after finalising the plan. Just execute the plan.
I am a beginner so please bear with me.. I feel I get really tired after studying for 1-1.5 hours. I take breaks but still I can't focus after 4-5 hrs(including short bteaks) of studies. Please guide me how to increase my study hours..
Can you share a little about your graduation days? Like what degree did you pursue and how your academic performance was?
Sir I am pursuing BSc with Chemistry hons. This is my 2nd year. So I am yet to be a graduate ☺

@dragonborn 5-6 hrs of proper padhai, not counting time scouting for material or solving random questions is itself exhausting. Wonder how people do 10 hrs.

well, before you start, collect you material you plan to cover in that session. As simple as that. Also, rely on physical sources (books, handwritten notes etc.)....less tiring to the eyes than digital sources...
