which is the most difficult part to clear ? physical efficiency test or medical standards test ?? I have heard a fairly fit person can easily clear PET but MST is damn difficult :-??

Once you have been allotted a service, your only choice is to either join it or forget about CAPF. You are not allowed to improve your service.
I think if u are allotted to a service and u decide to join it only then you are not allowed to appear again to improve your service.. if u don't join then u always have the option of appearing again the next year and join your preferred service provided if u get it..

No, the notification clearly mentions that just getting recommended to any service is enough to disqualify you from future attempts.
