Yes. My Islamic doctrine says that Indian Muslims should apologize to Hindus for thousand of years of Imperialism of Muslim rulers. My Islamic doctrine says that legal agreement should be made where all the temple converted mosques should be destroyed and correspondingly new mosques may be developed at some other areas. Temples should be reconstructed. My Islamic doctrine says that Indian Muslim should get rid of burden of Mughals as soon as possible. My Islamic doctrine says that cry with Kashmiri Hindus and they should be relocated back to kashmir. And if ISIS lover Kashmiris try to harm my Hindu brothers of Kashmiri origin, I will wage THE JEHAD and will stand with Indian Army. This is my Islam and not the Zakir Naik one.

@Lorelei I get where you are coming from. I do. What I don't agree with is that there is a set ideology of an organization that is unchanging and immutable. People do and have joined organizations because they thought some aspects of it needed improvement and they believed they could bring a major change in the organization's belief patterns. Because, unless that happens organizations will start rotting from inside. Don't compare nazis and ISIS to BJP and all. There is no violation of human rights involved on such a large scale even though their ideology is questionable.
I want to believe Muslims want dynamism in Islam, they want it to change with time. But there was a survey conducted in USA where 73% of Muslims who were surveyed wanted shariah to supersede the US constitution. You might argue that they are not representative of the Muslim world, nevertheless it is disconcerting. I get the fact the you love your religion, what I do not get is the rigid stance "My religion supersedes everything else." This is true for the hindutva ideology as much as it is for islamic extremists. I am afraid a large chunk of people believe likewise and that is the ideological debate going on in Islam. How does one justify muslims from so many countries attracted to the ideology of ISIS? I get it if there is underdevelopment and I can see Marx was onto something when he said "Religion is opium of the masses". But how do you explain educated, well off elites going to join ISIS. There has to be more to it than what meets the eye.
I am only saying, there are just too many instances of intolerance both home and abroad to turn a blind eye to the religions and potray them as sacred, above any human criticism. I am only criticizing certain aspects of Islam. There needs to be tolerance at a global level. And when that does not happen, we should all condemn the acts and the ideology that made them commit those acts. Even if that ideology is based on a religion, we need to hold the religion accountable as well.
Ummah is nothing infront of Parmatma/ Almighty/ God/ Bhagwaan.
It will be hypocrisy to side with Ummah, if Ummah is wrong. If whole Ummah is wrong, I will stand alone against my own Ummah.

Real Jehad was done by Kashmiri Hindus who died in 1992. Real Jehad was done by Yazidis and Christians in Syria. Real Jehad was done by Buddhists against China.

Your are sadly mistaken. Pakistans are not wahabbis. All heads of Pakistan were sufi-Barelvis. Barlevism is much stronger in Pakistan than in India. Barelvis supported Pakistan. You will find more wahhabis/salafis and deobandis in India than Pakistan. Now you cannot claim that you have more Islamic knowledge than those moulvies who supported Pakistan.

Ayaan hirsi ali? I am not even blaming islam or all the muslims. But I am highlighting your wrong assumption that if one criticizes a religion then he is a "dimwit." If an "illiterate merchant warlord from arabia"( Christopher Hitchens words not mine) can find a religion, why can't we figure it out too? For you, start with explaining how those 109 verses in koran do not preach violence. A lot is wrong with hinduism too. But it is people like you who think all religions are good, nothing is wrong who are the problem. You can't reform anything then.

Basically syllabus of GS has to be done before start of study of Islam.
You guys know what is the literacy rate of Muslim. So how much knowledge they have. They are sheep, governed from the Saudi Arabia.
Then knowledge of Arabic Poetry and Grammar, various interpretations.
Then one can open Quran. If above conditions are not fulfilled, and you are directly reading from translation, you will read literally and this is a flawed methodology. Whole Muslim world directly goes to the Quran translation and that has created a lot of problems. I admit that Majority of Muslim world is practicing Direct Quran reading Islam. This religion was made for intellectuals. And Muslim world is not an intellectual one right now.
Another problem is that Indian Muslims simply keep on reading Quran in Arabic. They do this all their life ignoring to read the Hindi Translation. They fail to understand that God does not want us to do an Arabic language course.
Sometimes I feel even Namaz should be done in Hindi. When we do Namaz in Arabic, we do not connect with God as much as we connect when we speak Hindi or any of our native language. Again same logic, God would appreciate prayers from the heart. An Indian guy praying in Arabic cannot connect with God as he has simply crammed the Arabic lines. God understand Hindi and Arabic. So speak that language by which one can speak from the heart.
