Ab kya intake...already result aa gaya hai..be logical...not just emotional..DAF bhi aa jayega ab.Who will listen to you?If anybody has direct contact wid PM,den it can happen.waise 5k aur le lete toh sach mein solve ho jata .
i have already started the thread,,but after some time it became a bakar thread with the guys who cleared pt celebrating their success and criticizing others.. regarding attempts,,i know it is never ending cycle..changed pattern and attempts,,with this bullshit we have lost our happiness..so increasing intake was an solution.those who doesnt agree with me,,said ki you should work hard etc etc thats idiotic argument..2013 my score in g.s was 103(official upsc marks),,2014 was 107(total 241 official upsc marks)..which were much tougher paper..this time was scoring minimum of 109.34(shankar) and 114(gk today) and i am out although committed lot of blunders,,so whats the guarantee that with increased attempt this type of one paper exam will not poison other serious aspirants who are giving mains this year
@himanshu07 bhai i can empathise with you.but do you understand the plight of ppl ,having lost this year in their last attempt..ppl much better than you also failed ,cse 2014 rank 284, many interview appeared ones..those scoring 128 in gs paper 2014 (p1)..also failed.so dont crib.be emotionally intelligent and if you have attempt left, prepare for mains..next time you may get good final rank.regarding intake increase ,now its childish..nobody comes on road and demands are very high degree ones. upsc wont listen anything for this year..in your hue and cry, many deserving ppl,who have no attempt left, will get deviated..so better focus on your preparation.
yaar..@gks...i want to give one more argument..asking for an attempt and consequential age relaxation would include even those candidates who are not affected i.e. passed in PT...i don't have any issue that..that's fine... but what about those candidates (like me) who didn't exhaust all attempts but can't make an attempt due to age (already 33..next year will be 34)....got lucky to get an attempt in 2015 due to 2011 attempt but couldn't sail through in PT....should also get an opportunity in 2016...
the solution is simple....only ask... any candidate who appeared in the Civil Services Examination, 2015 but is otherwise ineligible for Civil Services Examination, 2015 due to attainment of upper age limit on the crucial date for examination prescribed under this rule, shall be permitted an additional attempt in the Civil Services Examination, 2015. NOTE I:
Sorry to mention this... but why we are demanding extra attempt and age relaxation.... people have written and qualified for the examination... everybody was on the same page.... everyone got information at the same time...it is a competitive exam and candidate are judged relatively...moreover i dont think that anyone who was betting on paper 2 was preparing for paper 2... it is like this and we shd accept our failure and move on in life.... otherwise this exam will eat up more years of your youth life... P.S last attempt this time.... failed in pre....before this 5 attempt and five mains... both time cleared IFoS... So frnds dont misunderstand me... And i will not deny that If age and attempt are given I will also give the exam( either you pass or you will keep on giving exam unless your attempts are over)..and waste more years
Anyone who can confirm the VALIDITY of PART-1 of the below argument and should we include it in the application ->
"In the history of civil services exam in India, 2015 was a unique year when the selection in the prelims was made based on a single paper instead of two papers, whatever those two papers had been, and that too on an insufficient notice of only three months."
Please, reply soon as it is planned to post the FINAL draft in this thread, today.
even if this is not absolutely true just adding one word would do the trick. add "recent" before history. I mean "in the recent history".... etc.

move on means what...get married..have a job in pvt sector and dont fight for injustice...come on..dnt be an escapist..n ppl shud be given opportunity..

preliminary exam was introduced in 1979 for the first time.Since 1979 there were two papers. So the statement is absolutely correct.
