Anyone who can confirm the VALIDITY of PART-1 of the below argument and should we include it in the application ->

"In the history of civil services exam in India, 2015 was a unique year when the selection in the prelims was made based on a single paper instead of two papers, whatever those two papers had been, and that too on an insufficient notice of only three months."

Please, reply soon as it is planned to post the FINAL draft in this thread, today.
  • Some of us have CALLED the officials
Officials behaved nicely and talked honestly

What we got from the calls ->
That they ARE AWARE THAT A MOVEMENT is taking shape (how ? - may be through forum, may be FB etc, lets leave it for now)
That they ARE READY TO MEET US (while it was NOT SO EASY TO ARRANGE MEETING(s) in previous movements)

Now what to do regarding calls ->
We should NOT CALL THEN NOW, ANYONE WOULD GOT IRRITATED on receiving MANY CALLS for the SAME SUBJECT that too WHEN THE OFFICIAL DOES NOT YET KNOW OUR FULL CAUSE

So lets first send them our FULL CAUSE , FORMALLY
Lets give them one week time to go through it
and then only we have to proceed further

I understand that most of us want an ASSURANCE SOON so that they can start studying ,

But WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT "WE MIGHT BE IN A HURRY BUT NOT THEY"

LETS MAKE UP OUR MINDS TO HEAR EVEN "ONE POSITIVE WORD" ONLY after 30th, November and lets make up our minds to not expect an assurance before 25th december (as it would be holidays after 25th december - so we HAVE TO WIND UP OUR EFFORTS BY 25th december)

After discussions and thought exchange -

It seems that 2016 open year would not be valid for an exam for which conditions are already in place for appearing in the exam. So 2016 - an open year is being deleted from the draft.

whom would it affect -> Only 2011 aspirants who got extra chance in 2015

    What is the remedy ->
2011 case is already under hearing in court, most probably they would get EVERY CHANCE to compete
When our request would get 20% momentum then 2011 application should be sent SEPARATELY
While meeting the MoS and Secy in-person - THIS PHRASE CAN BE TOLD TO THEM "VERBALLY"

the only thing is that we WOULD NOT KEEP IT "IN-WRITTEN" as it has POTENTIAL to WEAKEN THE WHOLE APPLICATION. (detailed arguments are not being discussed here)
