Regarding the debate about colleges, I generally avoid such fruitless discussions, but here's an observation. VH Last year when some rowdy ruffians were burning vehicles on roads, the UPSC chairman (a Post Grad from IITD) was under considerable pressure to postpone the exam, he didn't budge. And neither did UPSC agree for change in CSAT what Arvind Verma panel had said is scientific and shouldn't be tinkered with.
This year a new Chairman (from St. Stephens) has surrendered before even putting up a fight. Who has BALLS?
The new chairman was specifically selected to remove cast by govt.
D . Gupta sahab nay drastic change ki baat ki thi...ye saala over drastic ho gaya....khair N. Modi nay baithaya hi issliye tha Chairman ki kursi par bahar sey lakar ki DoPT aur UPSC mai 2014 ki tarah "war of ego's" na ho...par burey toh hum fhas gaye hai in sab mai.
