what it meant for 33% qualifying marks. Whether marks more than specified will be counted or not for
cutoff or analogously marks below it means disqualified..??
can anyone differentiate & elaborate it...

Let us say the 6 lakh aspirants write the exam. Out of that, let us take all the candidates who get more than 66 marks in CSAT - Let's say 5 lakh people cross that number. Now arrange the GS-I marks of those 5 lakh members serially and category wise and the first n aspirants will be invited to write mains.

Consider a case where GS cutoff is 125.

Albert scored 60 in CSAT, 200 in GS. He will not be be eligible to write mains.
Brad scored 70 in CSAT, 120 in GS. He will not be eligible to write mains.
Emily scored 200 in CSAT, 120 in GS. She will not be eligible to write mains.
Peter scored 75 in CSAT, 130 in GS. He will be eligible to write mains. [Since he has more than 66 marks in CSAT and more than 125 marks in GS]

@kumar_deepak3265 If you comparing a novice politician like AK with heads of state there is little I can argue with you. Because if I start counting the number of ministers from Stephen's you might need cover.

How about you go through this list - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_alumni_of_St._Stephen's_College,_Delhi

The day any IIT, AIIMS or IIM can throw a comparable alumni, please restart this argument.

And here I am talking about just one college. If I include other colleges like SRCC, KMC, Hindu, LSR etc the list might be never ending.

Btw, an alumni of LSR also happens to be a Noble Prize Winner. Find out who.

@ankur22 Tu bhi padh le bhai. Jogi jaise ko lekar baitha hai. lol. I am sure people like Amitabh and Shahrukh pay some of the highest income taxe in the country. Padh le kahaan ki alumni hain.
IITs are not for producing"alumni list".They give nation builders, and nation building is done by engineers and scientists.Even the processor of the laptop which you use to write comments was developed by an engineer,Vinod Dham. You people all over your life read history geography, polity. But We IITians conquer your territory in 4-5 months.can you conquer ours?if your answer is no,then please do not comment further.

iit and engineering bro...iitians are the cream...iitians are 5% of the total engineers that are thrown into the system by private colleges ..for iitians respect ...but not for every iitian ...those who do research and make our nation respect for them ...these guys are our heros ..they are busy working .....but there are few who milk their names ...on forums ....and demand respect for themselves without any achievement ....stop taking credit for there achievements ... ...keeping a action movie name as your id ..doesn't make u a tough guy and earn respect ..the day you do something great ..u will earn that respect ..till than know your damn role and shut your damn mouth...understood ?......good ....now go get yourself a cookie ....aww...dont cry beta ..i told u dont go online alone ..its dangerous ......

I think your mind is empty like your scalp in the profile picture. He was referring to the alumni list of the humanities colleges.I gave him the reason for the same.Does it mean that he was also milking the status of those alumni? The debate was about IIT vs St.Stephens.And without giving some work to your brain jumped the gun.
