@GnR I faced Stress interview from Vinay Mittal board. It went on for 40min. And they had kept their ammo ready since the minute i stepped in. Now after seeing many comments here my heart is at ease knowing that it works in our favour.
I dnt thnk mine was a stress i/v. It ws a decent one. I hope he awards more than avg marks. :bz

One of my friend who is appearing in the interview for 4th time got avg marks in first two attempts, wheras his third one was relatively tougher and he got decent marks in this.
Alka Sirohi was rude with me and passed some comments (which I did not incorporate in my transcript, posted earlier). Also, other members commented about my 'attitude of changing permanent posts'(whatever that meant) and one other member commented if I had written incorrect info about NCC in my DAF as I could not answer his question about the NCC certification I completed ! I told him that I had opted for NCC in my initial 2 semesters in Engg(which everyone had to do) in the year 1998 which was 16 yrs ago and I could not remember the certification, to which he said that I should have remembered !

even i felt that way ... She asked me the detailed circuit in electronic choke and where is High Security Animal Disease Lab ...being in IT industry for alst few years i think both the qustion are highly irrelevant but thn again i believe in theory tht there indeed smthing like stress interview and i will get my due
I wouldn't say that there is much of a correlation between your DAF/profile and the kind of interview you end up having. The whole thing is rather spontaneous. This was my third interview (with VK Mittal's board) and while they did ask some rather tricky questions, on the whole they were quite cordial. My profile hasn't changed much since last year where I had what may be called a stress interview (with Purushottam Agarwal's board) - I got grilled to no end. In the past year my profile can only be said to have improved as I've been working (a fact that was pointed out a couple of times during my interview this year- e.g. why would you want to quit such a nice job etc. etc.)
In my first attempt I was fresh out of college and in my first job- and my interview (with IMG Khan's board) was a pretty sedate and cordial affair. Overall in my own experience of three interviews (and not lucky even once yet ) I haven't seen any correlation between the kind of interview I have had and my profile. the first one out of college was nice, the second after I had done a masters' and been a visiting faculty member at my university was horrid and finally the third time when I had also had another stint at a job, it was cordial again.
Voila- I don't believe the theory.
PS- Clearly I am as jobless as the rest of you. I could simply have said I don't believe the theory instead of going on the rant above.
