Same thing happens with me last year.. And now I compel to switch over to hardcopy for studying...and one thing friend it's fine if u maintain well, but from my 2017 experience I can tell u the sources u r relying on are too much to revise later..btw again it's fine if u maintain well..
Videos to dekhne hi padenge.
Ohh which sources are you referring to sir?? Please tell. Kuch nhi pta idhar
1st of all plz don't call me sir..I m no topper, and still struggling for CSE just like u and thousands others.. Actually I wanted to say that u must go through books which u can revise later, without revision u will never apply those thoughts into MCQ or mains paper.. If u watch 20+ minutes videos for particular topic then how Will u make revisions prior to exam! But yes there is a solution - u hv to make consize notes from those lengthy videos. Then it will be helpful I think, but it will kill ur time badly at the same time.. because not only preliminary or gs mains,u hv to go through the optional subject as well..so I will suggest u to follow Very little Number of books but with multiple multiple revisions.
@w00t bhai i have some follow up questions , would like some input from you. this will be the last time i'm gonna ask about hindu addhyan ki kala
kal ka hindu .. secularism article , editorial me , was important? i read it i didn't find it useful vice prez said few things about iran , worth noting ? aaj ka hindu pg2- old delhi trader's... public's take on GST , such news worth reading , can be used in answers? the page that replaces editorial page .. kya h iska funda? sikkim wala article was useful .. what you think?
Hindu's sunday science page - should read it? letters to editorials - should read?
and many many thanks for answering it vaguely , i do google the facts i don't understand , like you suggested ,that's why hindu takes more than an hour. being from hindi background my dictionary is always open while reading it , so i end up spending more than 1:30 hrs sometimes.
@Zigong bhai, literally speaking I don't like Sunday's newspaper but still we need to cover up.. the page in place of editorial doesn't have better content so I generally avoid this, for science just give it a glance.. most of the news are quite technical so digesting these kind of news is out of the league.. at the right bottom corner generally there is a policy+bill related to science comes, I tried to read that (like this week mdr tb, already this question was asked in upsc earlier) but best source for science is science monitor that comes in rstv (saturday-2:30pm) to keep you updated on weekly development of science in India and world. Otherwise we have monthly magazine for this section.
@ravenclaw I also make like this only. Can you show how did you make the notes of MSP wala article ? Income support to farmers
Not much, Just noted down facts:
MSP serves as price signal to farmers and are issued by early June.
Kharif Crops: MSP to increase by 150% and to incentivise crops having high sugar recovery rate.
NITI Aayog has said: The responsibility should be of state regarding procurement, storage and disposal of crops with partial central assistance Pay farmers difference between Market price and MSP Involve private agencies in procurement procedure
One more point as I have read earlier in newspaper - Pay farmers the price difference between market rates and MSP without any crop procurement --> Best suitable options as adopted in developed countries and didn't breaches the rules of WTO (food security norms)
Wow! Thanks! Doesnt breach WTO subsidy? Thats interesting! Where did you find it? I mean which paper do you read? Hindu itself?
Actually 20-30 days back I have read that so just added that point because it doesn't actually like our nfsa which resulted in public stockholding & all the shitty things regarding which shanta kumar committee has given recommendations.. by giving the differential payments we are obliging to the wto norms..

Guys, guys, don't be so harsh on an. It's ethically wrong too. He is not here to defend himself. And I only kno w him through 3 meetings so I can't elaborate all his goods too.
Roman's videos impact thousands of aspirants across the spectrum. All his videos aren't about CSE only and many are motivational and peripherally helpful in prep. The things which are everyday routine for many of us may be very new to a SSC/Banking/Police aspirant from Barpeta or Ukhrul or Pakur or Hingoli or Bijnor or Ariyalur or for that matter thousands of non-descript places strewn across India. Eg. I know of Pomodoro technique since my B.Tech days but ask any rural aspirant about it? I hope you get where I am pointing.
And he researches his matter well. He spends substantial time researching his content. He utilizes knowledge from Medicine, Psychology and humanities to prepare his material. I have seen his place. It is literally a treasure trove of books from a wide spectrum of subjects.
And it would be repititive to remind that he is graduate from AIIMS and his other achievements as a young boy. He shares a huge interest in Hollywood and western music just like me. This is what I meant from english-oriented background. As for his leaving the IAS, he must've taken a conscious decision about it. We are none to judge.
If you don't like his work, skip it. Or ignore it. But please cut the guy a slack. I've seen that it's fashionable to criticize him. People do it impulsively. Avoid it.
