Couldn't complete targets yesterday except hindu revision feeling actue pain in my eyes maybe because of excessive exposure to screen. One tip , use 'flux' when you're reading something on PC
Same thing happens with me last year.. And now I compel to switch over to hardcopy for studying...and one thing friend it's fine if u maintain well, but from my 2017 experience I can tell u the sources u r relying on are too much to revise later..btw again it's fine if u maintain well..
Videos to dekhne hi padenge.
Ohh which sources are you referring to sir?? Please tell. Kuch nhi pta idhar
1st of all plz don't call me sir..I m no topper, and still struggling for CSE just like u and thousands others.. Actually I wanted to say that u must go through books which u can revise later, without revision u will never apply those thoughts into MCQ or mains paper.. If u watch 20+ minutes videos for particular topic then how Will u make revisions prior to exam! But yes there is a solution - u hv to make consize notes from those lengthy videos. Then it will be helpful I think, but it will kill ur time badly at the same time.. because not only preliminary or gs mains,u hv to go through the optional subject as well..so I will suggest u to follow Very little Number of books but with multiple multiple revisions.
Alright @SUCCESSINGYOU Bhai the thing is I'm not reading any eco book , I've read ncert twice now these videos. And mrunal' videos ppts are quick revision themselves. Sawminathan committee, mor recommendations etc he has covered too. Do you think I should switch to books? ( For eco) right resources should be minimum. Jyada nhi hone dunga. Jitna digest kr saku utna hi khana h.
@w00t bhai i have some follow up questions , would like some input from you. this will be the last time i'm gonna ask about hindu addhyan ki kala
kal ka hindu .. secularism article , editorial me , was important? i read it i didn't find it useful vice prez said few things about iran , worth noting ? aaj ka hindu pg2- old delhi trader's... public's take on GST , such news worth reading , can be used in answers? the page that replaces editorial page .. kya h iska funda? sikkim wala article was useful .. what you think?
Hindu's sunday science page - should read it? letters to editorials - should read?
and many many thanks for answering it vaguely , i do google the facts i don't understand , like you suggested ,that's why hindu takes more than an hour. being from hindi background my dictionary is always open while reading it , so i end up spending more than 1:30 hrs sometimes.
@Zigong bhai, literally speaking I don't like Sunday's newspaper but still we need to cover up.. the page in place of editorial doesn't have better content so I generally avoid this, for science just give it a glance.. most of the news are quite technical so digesting these kind of news is out of the league.. at the right bottom corner generally there is a policy+bill related to science comes, I tried to read that (like this week mdr tb, already this question was asked in upsc earlier) but best source for science is science monitor that comes in rstv (saturday-2:30pm) to keep you updated on weekly development of science in India and world. Otherwise we have monthly magazine for this section.
Thanks @w00t . That science page was really giving me hard time Will watch RSTV science programme instead of Simpson from now on
