,my age will be 27(in april 2017) normal family (father retr. govt officer ) but i am single son now not earning yet,no more saving of job for going to delhi again cant ask parents
subha newspaper mai mains result ka dekh logo ne phone karke pauchna start kar dia hai :s sharm ke mare gar mai chup ke baitha hun
I read your post and can imagine the mental state you must be in. let me tell you one thing, having faced a lot of hurdles myself..

I don't know what my future is.. I will be appearing for interview this time.. and I don't know what will happen finally.. but if I were in your position, I would not be ashamed even I didn't clear prelims OR Mains or Interview or even a bank po job.

    it is your life.

Are you dependent on the people who are calling and asking you? are they financing your studies? are they paying your rent? no they are not.

only your parents are. so stop being ashamed of failure.

and if you are so ashamed of failure then do something else.

All the best for interview. you'll rock.
  • Bhai I can imagine your position (99% applies me), last year I failed in prelims by whisker, determined this time, was hoping to get at least interview call, dont know what happened, i lost again...but one thing that did not disappoint this time is I have 8 jobs now (all are state govt jobs and are in the process)...I wrote 6 exams since last year along with CSE, so keep writing other exams, no matter of salary, type of work (its just a backup)...anyhow you wont have to continue in these jobs if your motive is CS...keep on writing other exams, anyhow serious aspirants like us crack them with little bit of preparation...ATB
  • Will turn 29 this march. Is the idea of skipping this attempt and going for a job(which is a rigorous one) tenable? Would I be able to come back . Right now not even feeling like going for this gruesome excruciating process all over again , I am mentally tired :(

  • @biharKeLala
I am in same situation. Juggling between cse and preparing for another job won't be easy. Competition is hardcore in every exam. Which job are u planning?

It is actually a very pragmatic option.
I took 2016 off, concentrated on getting a job and now with a executive govt. job in hand, I'm much relaxed for my next attempt.

You also get to have a bird's eye view of the whole CSE cycle. It has psychological benefits. I hope I could explain that to you in detail here.

Short answer - sincerely consider going for this option.
    All the best. :)
