Cut off depends on question paper.... Recent trend it will be around 110-118....There was this GS question paper in 2010 which was super tough..... You needed good analytical skill to a answer those questions
Cutoff to paper dekhe bina kya hi speculate kiya jaa sakta hai.. par ek baat tai.n hain.. is baar jee jaan se lage hue hain sab.. pehle log pre ko itna zyada time nahi dete the.. shayad pichli baar ke high cutoff ne sab ko zyada hi satark kar diya hai..
Desi kahawat me kaha jaaye to.. "koi halka nahi mootegaa abki"..
Bhailogan kaisa bhi paper aa jaye, cutoff will be very high this time. Even the toughest paper shall have ~110 cutoff. Waise bhi 107 pichli baar ka shocker tha, saala 1 number se clear hua.
I know 10 people who will be attempting the paper for the 1st time, and 5 of them are consistently scoring 120+ in INSIGHTS. This is when I know total 15 people.
Focus on culture, tribes, festivals, NPs and NHs, valleys, rivers.
insight mein 150 lata hu, 120 kuch nahi hai insight ka level kabadi ka level hai, jao vajiram dekho hawa nikal jayegi
ye baat ; some question of insight can be done correctly even by the guys who haent even studied for UPSC and most of them will workout by elimination/smart guess;and then we have tons of guys boasting about the feel good factor ; try CDS/CAPF of UPSC and some of them are bound to question your preparation
Wahi polity har saal laxmikant se aati hai still people do blunder over and i believe laxmikant hi aise book hogi jo sabne sabse jada baar padhi hogi...i mean most of the people if not all..still people commit mistake nd often it happens on very simple and straight questions which we end up doing wrong by overthinking. So people studying more is not a point which can inflate marks much unless people end up reading ,re-reading and above all able to apply it on D-DAY.
Conclusion: The day itself decides alot ,nomatter howsoever prepared one is....
