@Maxi : Yup, i am in the same batch!!! Was a silent spectator all these days No i didn't give the test!! M not at all impressed with his discussions or notes. They are very absurd i must say and doesn't seem to gel with UPSC!! ( but that's my personal opinion). So m not expecting anything better from his test either :P My prepartion is Ok Ok so far, but not as i expected it to be though it improved in the last couple of days!!!
His sociology is good but that too in certain portion only .the main problem is he is not able to convert his sociologist mindset to generalist mindset . he only sticks to sociological aspect such as culture, family not other dimensions such as political and economic and the other thing is he has not even looked the previous years question papers for an idea of upsc pattern. Today question paper was fine.Questions were alright, not like some of the questions which he dictates like name the cities n all.
Hi Guys! I am new to this forum. I am from Hyderabad. I have attempted in 2012 but have missed it it mains. It will be grateful if you guys tell me about the coaching provided at Srirams. I am in a confusion between srirams and vajiram. I found out that vajiram fits in more than 300 students in a single batch. Is it the case with srirams too?? I found from few posts above that chairs dont have provision for keeping your notes? Is that true? Please clear my doubts: 1. Can you give a list of faculty dealing with each subject 2. The positives about srirams when compared to vajiram 3. And is there any provision of hostel facility in the near surroundings of the institute 4. Also tell me where can I find the genuine class notes of Shabbir sir(geo) and World history(baliyan sir) and best test series conducting institute please Please help out guys because Vajiram token admission starts from september. And what is the procedure for admission into srirams?

How abt ur prep??
Mine is also alright. Moving at leisurely pace. I am not able to decide as to what should I focus more on. On the topic that's being covered at coaching or the other topics that I am still left with and which also needs my urgent attention such as my optional i.e. History. Attention is being divided among these two aspects and hence both are suffering on this account.

Well @a13g as mentioned in the handout given to us, remaining topics of paper II & IV will be taken up tomorrow onwards. I myself have no idea about what these topics are and what will begin tomorrow and who will be covering what topic in what order. Hopefully all our queries will get answered tomorrow. Let's see what's gonna be the schedule. Why have you been absent so far from this discussion when you are in the same batch as us?
