Rest coaching want optional in GS2 taki unki dukan chalti rahe as in recent time many Pub Ad/Socio etc dukann shut down due to removal of GS2 optional and butchering in mains.So optional in pre is hope for them kyunki wo teachers CSAT nahi padha sakte kyunki wo khud iss bheed ka hissa thhe jo UPSC ko koste koste .........nikal pade. Jinmein himmat thhi wo IAS/IPS bann gaye

see.. why I said bunch of jokers .... he has to cross off my correct sentences and rewrite it in other way just to prove that I am wrong and dude..we are talking about elementary English not some literature test....where one has to be ready with punctuation and all...
kya faida , kaddoo churi par gire ya churi kaddoo par katega to kaddoo hi(whether knife falls on pumpkin or the other way, in either case pumpkins gonna cut. )
upsc is knife, if govt forces them to remove csat, they'll play some card and make some other arrangement whereby, upsc will meet its requirement without offending politicians. Eventually cutting the kaddo(aspirants)
Do you thinking upsc members and experts are fools, they r more educated, experienced and smarter than many of us. They know how to wriggle out of any circumstance, they'll find a way to thwart those who are trying to seek benefits.
best to prepare continuously, postponement or not, changes or not, exam will be there, best is to hone your skills in GS and Aptitude, soon or later its going to come in handy.
lolz People dreaming to be an IAS officer are scared about class 10 standard maths n English Really laughable
this the real issue and problem. now 10th class syllabus is deciding who will be IAS. 11th,12th, graduation , PG etc knowledge is going waste. in future if UPSC decide that those who can write a,b,c,d,e etc very fast will be selected then i will oppose. you may say i afraid of nursery syllabus, but i think IAS syllabus should be of PG level.
1.One should have quant skills.So lets see what is use of having these skill.Our administrators need not spend money on importing china calculators.So it is very good for containing CAD
2.Next qualification is good command over english language.What is the use then??As we are living in globalized world everyone tries to learn english language inlcuding farmers and rural people.So these administrators can take spoken english classes.There is no need to recruit new staff for spoken english classes because administrators are very thorough at english language .It saves lot of Exchequer money.So it is good for containing Fiscal Deficit.
Overall it is good for economy of a country.So it is good for people of the country.....
Suna hai ki csat ki gaadi shaayad chali gayi....jinhone sawaari kar li...ab unhe dobaara majaa nahi milegaa.....jald hi ye nws aane waali hai doston......
CSAT ki gaddi tej chalegi kyunki RC hatne wali hai aur wahi to jo thode no. katte thhe warna to reasoning aur maths hum bhi 99.99% accurate karte hai.English aur RC hata do phir dekho CSAT mein 195-200 score common ho jayenge.
Pura CSAT hatana muskil hai as per secret news only RC would be removed.
So finally 3 points
1) If RC removed from CSAT means more score from Reasoning/Maths.If RC stay in simple hindi translation hum bhi fayda uthayenge kyunki kuch kuch engglish ke words ki meaning deknhe ko paka pakaya mil jayegi
2)If CSAT not removed. No problem but would like change in it. 3) Exam postpone is chocoooooolaty gift for us working people.
They protest and we get benefits lage raho bhai logo kyunki matlab to hamara bhi pura ho raha hai :P.
But If CSAT would be removed UPSC will take revenge in GS1 by giving excess Science/Environment/Economy questions of tough level.
Why are @all of u fighting ??? I mean this is an exam of excellence right ?? The idea is to select the best all round candidate ... If a person can't speak or write english what do u expect to do in service.. It' s a valid question.. UPSC is a premier service u will not just interact with grass root level but also premiers of various countries and your counter part of various countries .. So you should know basic english.. And another question when answering your class 10th or 12th exam did u make similar demands to scrape english ?? Then what is the problem now ??? The question are of the same standard.. And if u can't qualify in the present pattern that is your problem the country cannot change according to winces and fancies .. This is the problem with the country now because of vote bank politics they will scrape this wonderful pattern and then we will have to face getting shoddy officers who can't even speak a line of english leave alone comprehend when someone else is speaking...
