Don't worry bro. we are in the same boat. I am also trying for HPPSC, RPSC and this year looking forward to clear Punjabi language paper ..to be eligible for PPSC.. luck aajmate raho lottery lagegi jarur.. aur Haan SSC ka paper jarur bhar dena...paper clear hote rahe to achha lagta h..

I would suggest remaining a Doc if you can get a decent salary at a hospital or if you can start your own practice.
I had cleared SSC in 2008-09 while I was still in college. At the same time I managed to get placed with a lawyer at a nice salary. Chose the latter. For that reason alone I also skipped the PE of CAPF and didn't appear for Bank PO any further.
What I intend to say is don't take up a job just because it is a sarkari naukri. There is a tendency among people to over-glorify them. Some private jobs/self employed jobs can be much better and even more rewarding. I know a person working in the private sector who didn't opt for IRS because for him it was either IAS or IFS or his job at Deutsche Bank.
Balance your present opportunities with the opportunities SSC provides. Make an informed call thereafter.
@manoj07 bhai yahan ssc jobs ko overglorify karne ki aadat ho gyi hai sabko...promotions CSS main bhi itne fast nhi hote ..actually mrunal ki site pe dekh ke logon ko lagta hai CSS main sab director promote ho jate hain actually main under secretary pe max log aur kuch log dep secretary pe pahuch ke retire hote hain...income tax main sabko mrunal ne bata diya 5-6 promotion but reality ye hain ki ito se irs banne ke liye cbdt ka exam bhut difficult hota hai jise 100 mains se 1 banda clr karta hai aisa ratio hai...examiner main promotion abhi tak bas fast the kyunki cbec ka departmental exam irs banne ke liye kafi easy hota hai lekin excise inspector ke halle ke baad wahan bhi cadre restructuring ho rhi hai jisse almost sabhi inspector bas AC ya max DC banke retire honge
To bhai logo first preference kise rakhu? Mai to soch rha tha examiner> CSS > mea....mujhe laga 12-15 saal me inmese promote hoke mai IRS, IAS, IFS level pe ajaunga. Lekin aap sabki baate sunkar man udas yogya hai. Agar examiner me ab fast promotion nahi hain to ise first preference dene ka koi logic nahi banta...risky job hai criminals/smugglers k sath deal karna padhega. To itna btado konsi post me mujhe apne hard work aur dedication ka accha result milega aur promotion bhi acche rahenge? Firse preference order decide karta hu. @manoj07@gaurav123@sniper
@sherdil bhai prefernce apni individual choice hoti hai..jahan tak promotion ki baat hai to 4600 gp ki sari jobs almost same hoti hai bas ye decide karo ki field job chaiye ya desk job...home postin ke chances wali post chaiye ya port pe 15-20 saal gujarne ka man hai or delhi main lifetym postin chaiye..india main rehna hai ki foreign ki bhi hawa khani hai...ye cheejein decide karo aur prefernce bharo
