I hav done coaching last yr frm GS mentor thru their Online coaching programme. 1. Geog by sikandar sir....My best sir.....very good sir....even if u try to divert ur mind his techng wont let u do.....uses very simple and interactive appoach. I found his printed notes very holistic in nature, covrring all aspect(read only if ur optional is geog). 2. Economic by zulfeqar sir......He is baap of economics. .he will make u doctorate in eco...no need to refer any book aftr his lec....solve all doubt very calmly...gives indepth knowledge....the reason i ranked him aftr sikandar sir was his communication skill(he speaks too fast so wasn't able to recognise some wrds as i was doing online coachng)...but in classroom u wont face any prblm. 3. Polity by kumud Ranjan sir....he is also very good sir, though he dont go in much detail like first two sir, his lec will give u enugh content abt polity, then go with laxmikant or DD basu. His notes are very easy and simple. 4. Sci and Tech by Ayaaz sir...purely a professional teacher, never divert frm his topic. He has good knowledge, bt he teaches at a very fast rate(i think its necessary as sci and tech syllbs is almost infinite). His class notes are awesome but be ready to write at superfast speed. 5. History by tarique sir.... I dont like him bcause every time he used to divert frm topic(any how he will prove u that he is on topic). He used to give vast lec on not so imp topic(specially religious) and go fast on imp topic. Thats why i hav skipped his half lec. But his teachng is also good, just he required is proper utilisation of time. 6. I hav not done their ethics class so cant say on that. 7.Cant comment on their test series
Demerits 1. Sylbs finished in july(might b it is normal) 2. Some topic of geog was shared by a junior teacher, and that was horrible lec. I hope they dont do it again. 3. No special lec on security,culture, environmnt.
If some one ask me whether to join it or not, i will say a big YES, bcause v can request them to hav seperate lec on required topics and i think histry is manageable.
Please don't join GS mentors, the worst institue. Horrible management and staff. I joined their tablet course first they gave me few videos of previous year batch . And now its been 6 months I havent recieved any new video from them. Plus there staff is pathetic , when I say atleast give me the unedited videos they straight away refuse.Same is the case with all the students .
I think I was bit angry while posting above comment.Though their staff is not that helpful , but the core faculty is good and helpful.Talked to one of the faculty and finally got the problem resolved..Feel free to message me if you need reviews from me.So the moral of the story is tell your problem to right persons , they will help you.
