how to prepare RCs and some other topics

seniors/friends,
there are many good books available for a single topic. however, the paucity of time does not permit us to follow more than one. I have selected two books for some topics. please suggest the comparatively better choice (your may also suggest other books/strategy)

PS - for RCs, I'm practicing Arihant guide for CSAT, but even after some 30-35 passages, accuracy is not nudging up satisfactorily

I don't think you need to bribe people to answer your query. People on this forum are large-hearted that way. Maybe the reason why you are not getting replies is because this topic has been discussed so much already. Take some time and read the older threads where other members have shared many strategies/ways for solving rc's. I am using a mob or I would have posted the links to the relevant threads myself.
Reading and assimilating the daily editorials in newspapers is a sure-shot way to increase your rc. You can see a marked improvement in your accuracy within a few days if you do this sincerely.My 2 cents.

please come to computer and post the relevant links that you mentioned. also, help me choose the best book for essay and governance topic from the books that I have mentioned above, serial no. (2) and (3) respectively. waiting eagerly . . .

@drt Well, for RC's I use GMAT official review 12e. I found it very good and it has honed my ability to tackle ambiguous questions. I recommend you try it. The soft copies of the 12e and 13e is available on torrent sharing sites. Forgive me for not posting links to them as I don't support piracy.
For essay writing practice I don't refer to any particular book as such, instead I try writing on as many varied topics I can and review them later for better structure and brevity. I do read select articles on EPW, TIME,etc and try to pick up ideas on how to improve my writing.

For GS II, I plan to go through relevant portions in ARC report and 12th FYP. I haven't used any of the books you've mentioned except the one by Laxmikant, which I'd used while reading on statutory,regulatory and quasi judicial bodies. I didn't find it very good on the analysis part but as I haven't read the other book you've mentioned or any other for that matter I can't say where it stands comparatively.

sorry, I don't have any prior knowledge. It seems it's amalgamation of both, emphasizing practice sets. though I chose out of instinct, content wise it looks sufficient for RCs. hope it does not disappoint.
