The procedure is this- Once all interviews are over, the entire spreadsheet is updated and necessary filters are added to arrive at the final list of successful candidates. This usually takes two hours. What ensues is manual verification which might take a day, maximum two. Once all this jazz is over, the final list is presented in a sealed envelope to the Chairman who immediately calls for a meeting of the Commission i.e., all the Members, opens the envelope, it is seen by everyone and it is published within the next hour or so.

Manual verification must be coming to a close today, I reckon. If it's done before lunch, results may well be out tonight/tomorrow forenoon. Otherwise, tomorrow evening/day after. Again, I'm hoping good sense prevails on them and they publish it ASAP. It's been a very tiring 13 months cycle.

I am just not calculating anything.
Trying so hard to get my mind blank.
Somehow have this strong feeling that I won't make it this time.
The last interview was on 26th April last year (See upsc link), and results were declared on 3rd May. That's exactly one week after interviews.
