Upendra Sir tends to utter these inanities every once in a while: they are best ignored. I guess it is the anxiety that many non-engineers have about their relative lack of smartness that makes them mouth such statements, which, I am sure, they consider profound. Anyway, this is for 'many' non-engineers and not most. There is much to be learnt from the really artistic and creative chaps.
relative lack of smartness? lol ek medical college main jakar dekho....jab icu main banda leta hota h na tum labourer hath jod kar ek white coat wale ke samne khade hote hai...sir khuch bhe kariye par plz bacha lijiye.....u too know where engg exists in front of doctors

I will tell a story to all,
All body parts in a body started saying i am the most important one and then the @$$hole(rectum) said i am the most important one. All other parts like Liver, Lungs, Heart laughed saying we produce bile juices, respire and pump blood and all you do is excrete.
It was sad and decided to not work and there was constipation and mass repercussions. Then each organ came to know that all have different functions and each utility is vital for the functioning of the body as a whole.
So, Engineers, Doctors and for that matter road saaf karne waale safai karmchari - all are equally important for the well being and functioning of the society.
And more importantly laborer hamare samne haat jodke vinti karta hai - this statement shows a lot of arrogance and superiority my friend. It will only take someone down.
If you are so proud of being a Doctor, why leave it and aspire to be a Civil servant. A sincere qn from my side.
Finally, Lehmann ka CEO Dick Fuld bhi aisa hi tha, he refused a $5Bn loan from Japanese giant stating it is demeaning for him to ask/beg and the next day Lehmann was HISTORY.
As a moderator, I am saying Don't let things go PERSONAL here and let the place be SANE. No one is superior and all are born equal - sabke paas wahi hai jo tumhare pass hai. Your profession or educational qualification does not make you any different from the rest.
